We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support our Americas Marketing department. This is the perfect opportunity for someone hoping to get hands-on experience with a brand and exposure to a wide range of marketing disciplines across a mix of strategic, creative & consumer activations. The Marketing Assistant will support the team with a multitude of activities from photoshoot sample coordination, influencer activation support, coordination for building commercial pitch-deck and sales needs as well as operational and clerical support as needed.
This role will get direct experience working within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The perfect candidate will have excellent interpersonal communication skills, be detail oriented, and have a drive to get things done. Experience working in Keynote or PowerPoint would be highly beneficial.RESPONSIBILITIES:MARKETING COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Support department communication through pitch deck and communication to cross-functional teams.Generate, maintain, and share seasonal campaign documents -- including developing marketing milestones and creating pitchdeck presentationsAssist marketing team with organization and sharing of relevant seasonal assets as neededAssist with pulling product images off the DAM/Server for pitchdeck buildsAssist marketing team with all regional events and activations; from planning stages to on-site logistics. Travel may be required.Help manage and sort expenses and submissions of invoices as required.PR, INFLUENCER & ATHLETE COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Work with marketing team to compile samples for PR, influencer & athlete needsConduct outreach to influencers & athletes as necessary.Support results reporting and distribution recaps as necessary.SAMPLE COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage photostudio samples and work closely with GTM Manager to execute seasonal lineguide and ecommerce product shootsSit in PLR/FLA meetings to get a full understanding of marketing stories and styles for the seasonHelp pull samples for seeding, PR placement, photoshoots, PR agency needs, etcSAMPLE COORDINATOR: 30% GTM COORDINATOR: 30%PR COORDINATOR: 30%MISC: 10%REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION: 2-3 years marketing, digital, retail or agency professional experienceBachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or similarExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in AP styleStrong interpersonal skills, capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environmentAbility to work on multiple programs with various components simultaneouslyAbility to be self-motivated, show initiative and work independentlyStrong organizational and time management skills to meet all deadlines a mustAbility to adjust to changing priorities and multi-taskTechnical aptitude of Microsoft Office Suite/Google Docs with ability to quickly learn internal project management systems PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:Previous experience within the skate / snow industry and associated culture is a plusWorking knowledge of photography production and procedures and Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
