Digital Marketing & eCommerce Manager Reports To: VP Marketing & Growth Strategy (CMO)

Essential Functions ECommerce Channel Ownership

Digital & email marketing

UX & site merchandising

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Develop, in partnership with CMO, sales, and marketing teams, a proven process for managing and operating Madcap eCommerce and digital marketing strategies.

Day to day administration, merchandising, and operation of Madcapcoffee.com, eCommerce platform, and B2B wholesale portal.

Own and program all Madcap email marketing, in accordance with Marketing product and editorial calendar and prescribed messaging cadence.

Own and benchmark key digital marketing functions: SEO, SEM, affiliate marketing, and digital campaigns.

Merchandising and product management for DTC and B2B portals.

Grow existing CRM database, expand email distribution list, and manage CRM database.

Assess the team's process and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.

Partner closely with CMO and Sales Leadership to develop and implement Madcap's distribution, channel, and targeting strategies, including 3P subscription partners, 1P marketplaces, and Amazon.

Partner closely with Marketing team to develop the seasonal go-to-market (GTM) process, marketing and editorial calendars, and meeting cadence.

Partner closely with Marketing and Community teams to formulate social media and influencer strategies, implement best practices, manage paid campaigns, and maximize digital channels for demand creation.

Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Developer teams to implement iterative changes, updates, and upgrades to Madcap's UX, eCommerce experience zones, and general web shopping experience.

Partner closely with Operations and Marketing teams to implement site promotions, best practices for order fulfillment, and email trigger campaigns.

Close observer of trends in digital marketing, eCommerce, and social media. Identifies and creates opportunities.

Curious, data driven, and iterative. Willing to theorize, test, verify, and adjust as needed.

2+ years of experience in digital marketing or eCommerce.

NetSuite/SuiteCommerce strongly desired.

EOS and project management tools/platform experience are a plus.

Specialty coffee experience a plus.

Supervisory Responsibility

This role manages external partners and partners closely with direct staff. This role may be responsible for supporting the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of direct reports and for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment and will require flexibility with work from home during COVID-19. Remote work and geographic location is flexible and open to discussion. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This position is full-time with an average of 40 hrs/week expected. Longer hours, evening, and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
