Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager

Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager ready to hit the ground running to strategically build and deepen the success of our programs. Reporting to the Director of Digital Experience, the ideal candidate will have experience in developing robust, integrated, and on brand social media strategies across our existing social media channels while also applying a strategic process for evaluating new social media platforms. Additionally, this role will collaborate with our internal brand team and our agencies to build our micro and mid-level influencer cohort and drive meaningful engagement and maximize content assets across platforms. Lastly, this role will collaborate with our dedicated call service ambassador team to ensure our ambassadors are trained on social media responding, measure against set social response KPIs, and inform the team on monthly content plans.
Essential Duties:
- Ensure brands maintain appropriate levels of engagement on existing social media communities (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube), to meet set KPI’s.
- Regular reporting on KPI’s to the marketing team and executive leadership
- Stay up to date on social media tools, test and learn opportunities, best practices, competitive activity and other social media leaders
- Work cross-functionally with our online customer service agents to monitor customer response times
- Collaborate with NA brand and digital marketing teams, and agencies to create holistic social campaigns
- Ability to be forward-thinking about upcoming social media needs surrounding new product launches, seasonal events and respond to market changes
- Responsible for the campaign planning, execution and maintenance of brand influencers and ambassadors. Will represent the brand at in-person blogger summits. Will help facilitate product donation requests – response, fulfillment, and tracking.
- Track performance to more effectively reach and engage with audiences
- Educate our Independent Dealers on social media strategy, best practices, and how to leverage branded organic and paid posts on their owned channels
- Capture social assets for global utilization (where applicable) in our Widen Creative DAM (digital asset management system)
Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well versed with the unique nuances and technical capabilities of commonly used social media platforms
- Keen eye for content and you can quickly understand what type of content is meaningful, appropriate and useful in each situation, targeted consumer segment or each platform.
- Creativity and passion for brand marketing
- Knowledge of social media monitoring tools such as Salesforce Social Studio is a plus
Experience/Educational Requirements:
- Must be a heavy user of existing social media platforms with the desire to research and integrate new and emerging platforms.
- 2-4 years of experience in digital media or social media environment. Agency experience a plus.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record of guiding social media strategy, execution and reporting.
- Well-organized, strategic thinking, detail-oriented thinker
- Understanding of the OPE marketplace and customers, knowledge of product design and manufacturing processes a plus.
