Influencer Strategist
Job Summary
The Influencer Strategist reports to the Manager, Talent Execution and works within the central marketing team in providing digital influencer expertise and strategy for divisions within TWDC including Disney Streaming Services, Sales, Consumer Products, Studios, Media Networks and other business units. In this role, this person will have a passion for digital media, a proven track record working with talent and talent representatives, experience executing branded campaigns and deep understanding of working on influencer deals. The Influencer Strategist will be responsible for managing the execution of all influencer execution requests for the company, including negotiating, contracting, content submission, and campaign reporting. He/she will also serve as a liaison between content creators and Disney internal/external requests.
Responsibilities
- Execute branded campaigns directly with Sales by handling RFPs, contract drafting and negotiations, timelines and seeing projects through to successful completion. Including creating and communicating final wrap reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate and work effectively with the Sale Development Team and Talent Relations Team to successfully deliver social media campaigns sold to clients
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to properly review campaigns, manage risks and establish internal solutions on behalf of talent.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the influencer marketing space
- Experienced in dealing/working with Talent (either digital or traditional), Talent management teams (agents, managers and publicists) including having relationships with large and smaller talent agencies and management firms in the industry.
- Branded and Sales Integration experience required.
- Experience with and knowledge of short-form video platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat.
- Familiarity with back-end publishing and platform and analytics tools (FB insights, YouTube Analytics).
- Basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Suite).
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
