Social Media Manager
Hooray Foods is on a mission to combat climate change, enhance the world’s ecosystems, and prevent animal suffering, all by providing people around the world with delicious food that gives them the same experience and joy as eating animal products - Hooray!!
Our first product is a plant-based bacon that looks, cooks, and tastes almost like the real thing. Our plant-based bacon is currently available in over 200 Whole Foods Market stores and we’re on our way to completing our full 300+ store roll-out soon.
With an increase of customers and growth, we need a passionate and creative social media and community manager to help us communicate with our customers and showcase our product on our strongest marketing platform: social media.
Ultimately our aim is to build a community and a movement around our products. Our mission is to bring people joy while they make the world a better place, so we want to develop a brand and following that embodies these beliefs.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage all Hooray Foods’ social media accounts and facilitate growth including but not limited to Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Youtube, and TikTok
- Develop enticing content focused on our product, our mission, and joy - let your creativity shine!
- Engage with our customers and community across all Hooray social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and resolve issues, questions, and concerns while providing relevant feedback to the internal team to help inform Hooray product and service decisions
- Collaborate with Head of Marketing on creating and executing a social media calendar and influencer collaborations
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Ideal Requirements
- A love for social media
- A passion for sustainability and food, ideally with a background in customer service
- Excellent communicator, especially via written/social media
- Experience producing social content first hand, whether copy-only or visual
- Strong visual eye
- A creative mindset; we’re ready to support your wild ideas (as long as they’re on brand and on strategy)
