Director of Global Influencer Marketing- Jordan
As our DIRECTOR OF GLOBAL INFLUENCER MARKETING - JORDAN BRAND, you will lead a team that seeks, bonds, serves & improves the most relevant and authentic influencers for the right moments against key category/brand/business priorities. In service of the brand and in partnership with the categories, you will redefine sport culture! This person will build the Jordan influencer strategic plan for key brand moments in partnership with category teams that drive brand strength, empower our dedicated consumers, strengthen our connection with consumers and unify sport and our athletes! The ideal candidate will know the target consumer and which talent is influencing this consumer. We are looking for someone who will suggest innovative, imaginative and inventive ways to solve problems, overcome obstacles and take the Jordan Brand into new territory. In this role, you will be able to challenge out dated rules and thinking to accelerate our distinction. You will create multiplier maps, clear plans and journeys for our entertainers & influencers, always putting the *athlete at the center. This person is innovative with budgets and always be driven to deliver the highest quality of work.
What You Will Work On
Deliver & lead journeys/calendar/contract across product, service & projects for influencers. Including the influencer marketing journey and their long-term brand plans ensuring consistent brand positioning.
• Constantly map & evaluate our influencer relationships and partnerships
• Execute category integration plans for key working with Influencer Marketing and Category partners. (Keep them on-top of MIND) Men’s, Women’s, & Kids.
• Driving integration with focus on NHBD and SNKRS team to ensure the Influencer Marketing Brand Architecture and Influencer Launch calendar advises the NHBD and SNKRS product journey.
• Develop strategic plans for influencer partnerships in collaboration with the brand and product teams. Instill process and clear direction, echoing the Global Influencer Brand Management long term strategy, Influencer portfolio and playbook.
• Educating teams with humility, passion and a positive attitude relating to industry shifts in marketing and consumer behaviors that ensure we stay on the edge of culture.
What We Are Looking For
• Lead the seasonal Influencer concept map for Jordan Brand (Global / NA / APLA / EMEA)
• Regularly drive alignment with Jordan Brand Geo partners in a seasonal and yearly scope.
• Drive alignment with Global Influencer Marketing - Nike Inc.
• Develop & execute clear product seeding roadmaps for entertainment & influencers
• Budget management & forecasting
• Build and maange a winning team
• Own a tier-1 relationship budget - other Functions and Geos (always make sure they can afford the ask)
• Work together with the specialists in the field
• Ensure goal setting & career plans are prepared & shared in a timely manner
• Be an inspiring & encouraging leader and member of the influencer marketing team
What You Bring
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
• 6+ years experience in consumer marketing, or related experience in marketing strategy, planning and implementation, retail merchandising, display and consumer servicing, or events execution
• 3+ years management experience
• Strong knowledge of the athletic industry, entertainment/influencer industry and trends in the marketplace
• Understanding of the competitive market, customers, and retail trends
• Advanced degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
• Strong understanding of Jordan and product lines
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Able to work well independently and in a team setting
• Strong information-seeking skills
• Travel 10% in the role
• Able to meet all travel requirements for the position
