Private equity backed Jaanuu is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to support the growth and engagement of the Jaanuu online communities. This position collaborates with members of the marketing, creative, customer service, product development and merchandising teams to provide a consistent and engaging brand experience across all Jaanuu’s social media communities.

This role reports to Jaanuu's Social Media & Influencer Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Research target audience and discover current trends
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create social media concepts that align with product launches, campaigns and other brand initiatives
  • Schedule and post relevant content in accordance with Content Calendar (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, IGTV)
  • Assist in management of content briefs in creative project management platform (ie. Asana)
  • Engage with Jaanuu’s owned content and community’s posts across multiple social platforms (ie. liking/commenting on tagged posts, brand-related hashtag posts, etc.)
  • Assist with tracking and reporting for social media and influencer posts
  • Manage daily communication with influencer/brand ambassador community, as well as assist in strategy for ambassador program growth and development
  • Provide support for social media brand/influencer partnerships, takeovers and send product as needed
  • Work with Creative team to create Instagram Stories weekly
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, culture and applications
  • Come up with creative solutions and new testing methods to positively impact social media initiatives to maximize results

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of social media and/or influencer related experience
  • Knowledge of social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube. Must have passion for all things related to social media!
  • Knowledge of health care and/or medical communities not required, but preferred
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to engage audiences
  • Desire to work in a startup with a goal to be disruptive to the scrubs industry; previous experience in a startup preferred
  • Ability to be both a self-starter and a team player
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to create great working relationships with all levels within the company and across multiple disciplines
  • Some level of proficiency in Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or other photo/editing tools preferred but not required
  • Ideal candidate is both analytical and creative
