About the Team:

We are looking for a Partner Manager- Commerce to join our Ecosystem Partnerships team. Commerce partnerships are a critical means of scaling interactions between TikTok users and online merchants across the globe. As a Partner Manager, you are expected to build and grow strategic relationships with various actors across the E-Commerce ecosystem. Partner Managers will work closely with the sales teams as well as our most strategic partners to develop new ways for merchants, users, and creators to create new ways for consumers to interact with products they love.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow direct and active relationships with strategic partners, including on-boarding and contract work, proactively resolving business, technical, and integration issues, and serving as an internal advocate.
  • Drive product and merchant adoption of commerce integrations and solutions
  • Provide ongoing education about new and existing TikTok commerce partners
  • Project-manage complex integrations with various commerce players
  • Identify opportunities to scale existing solutions to more merchants and creators.
  • Partner closely with merchants and their TikTok sales teams to provide innovative business solutions.
  • Represent Tiktok in external meetings with executives from other companies while displaying the highest personal integrity and ethics.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of client-facing experience in partnerships, business development, or commerce operations
  • Experience owning and scaling growth projects in a fast-paced technical environment
  • Experience developing complex integrations with third parties
  • You're a builder, incredibly organized, and process-oriented.
  • You are a strategic thinker, but you’re also a doer and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to execute.
  • You thrive in an environment with changing priorities and responsibilities, and you’re able to make and stand behind decisions without a clear roadmap.
  • Experience presenting to internal and external audiences at all levels of seniority.
  • Quantitative/analytical experience.
  • Experience working as part of an international team.
  • Strong product acumen
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, affiliate technologies, and/or influencer marketing a plus.
  • Fluency in English required
  • Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese is a plus.
