Account Supervisor, Influencer Marketing
Role Description:
The Account Supervisor, Influencer Marketing is a key member of the Influencer Marketing division. They will be responsible for managing and executing influencer marketing campaigns and supporting the brand partnerships and talent management arms as needed. It’s a dynamic job. One day you may be casting talent and negotiating contracts with agents and influencers. Next, you may be working on reporting for a client campaign or participating in brainstorming sessions. Thus, you’ll need to be passionate about all facets of influencer marketing in order to produce the best work. You must be a proactive employee, willing to go above and beyond, and comfortable working with internal leadership and client executives. You also must be a collaborative team player, willing to wear many different hats and roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done. You will work closely with the Director of, Influencer Marketing, and collaborate with Socialfly’s leadership team, creative team, paid media team, and account leads on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
Thought Leadership
- Maintain an advanced understanding of the influencer agency landscape, including software developments and competitive agencies
- Research, identify and develop relationships with key influencers, platforms, and talent agents
- Stay up to date on influencer rates and packages and assist in the development of new influencer offerings as the industry changes
- Attend virtual networking events
- Develop strong relationships with influencers and agents
- Drive innovative and award-winning work to position Socialfly as a leader in the social media marketing space.
New Business
- Assist in brainstorms for new business pitches or client upsells as needed.
- Build positive relationships with clients and look for sales triggers with current clients and inform the Director of Influencer Marketing as those opportunities arise.
- Support the Director of Influencer Marketing on new business pitches and upsell opportunities on a regular basis.
Operations
- Collaborate with the Director to continue to fine-tune the Influencer Management Process, and make changes as necessary to keep up with emerging trends.
- Manage and mentor influencer marketing coordinator and intern.
- Stay up to date on proper FTC guidelines for influencer promotions and ensure Socialfly adheres to any new developments
- Assist in the development of case studies for key campaigns
- Ensure adherence to all influencer campaign budgets
- Oversee the Influencer Marketing coordinator to cast and execute for campaigns
- Collaborate with the team to contract the right influencers for each campaign and negotiate for the best rates for our clients.
- Create insightful, data-based reporting of influencer campaigns and determine key learnings for future client and internal optimization
- Assist the Director in the development of strategy and campaign development,.
- Oversee the creation of influencer creative guidelines
- Collaborate with paid media team to execute whitelisting campaigns
- Compile campaign insights and key learnings to share with clients on a regular basis
- Attend and participate in weekly client status calls for existing clients/campaigns
- Liaise with account leads to ensure proper and timely client communication, reporting, info-sharing, etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4-6 years of Influencer Marketing experience in agency or brand role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/training
- Results-focused and customer service oriented
- Entrepreneurial spirit/highly developed problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Strong analytical ability
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle many moving parts simultaneously
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt in the face of ever-changing projects
- Must have strong attention to detail and be a collaborative team player
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Confident and credible with senior executives (client contacts)
- Deep understanding of influencer marketing and social media industry, and the ever-evolving platforms.
