Experiential Communications Coordinator
AGAR is seeking a multi-faceted, professional communications and PR storyteller and coordinator with 5+ years experience working in a communications or experiential agency, corporate marketing department or media outlet. The successful candidate will play an integral role in building and executing communications strategies primarily through writing and content production, but also through building client and influencer relationships, and outreach and storytelling through media partnerships.
The Experiential Communications Coordinator must be a strong writer with the ability to create engaging communications content for a broad range of formats including traditional communications and media materials, marketing copy, articles, social media content, website copy, experience and event way finding, and collateral for AGAR and its client roster. The Experiential Communications Coordinator will also be a key contributor to Company new business efforts, developing strategic copy and storytelling for RFPs and ideating and writing presentation decks that outline and describe experiential concepts, and contributing to the presentation of the ideas and strategies.

With AGAR’s fast-paced business growing and ever changing, the Experiential Communications Coordinator must be a self-starter who thrives as part of a collaborative team, is able to prioritize multiple projects and nimbly and efficiently manages deadlines. As an experiential firm that creates events and human experiences, the Experiential Communications Coordinator will engage externally with audiences before, during and after each experience through Storytelling and PR while internally providing clients and team with written strategies, event playbooks, training sessions and event recaps.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead and support key communications experiences and activations
- Manage experiential communications accounts and ensure work is delivered with excellence, exceeding expectations
- Conduct in-depth research and compile detailed recommendations, points of view, stories and reports
- Provide support in the development of communications strategies and the creation of communications content that resonates with multiple audiences and is built to be shared across the storytelling ecosystem to maximize reach, engagement and coverage
- Ability to write across a wide range of content including traditional advertising copy, long-format thought leadership pieces, online content, social media, blog posts, presentation decks, print/digital marketing communications, press releases and story pitches and new business proposals and decks
- Create media monitoring reports and compile media analysis and media lists to assist in developing media relations strategies and executing outreach
- Assist in the coordination and production of events including press conferences, media briefings, media tours and other media related experiences (virtual and live activations)
- Work with designers and creative team to ensure brand essence and core message communication within all copy
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, team members, partner agencies across the marketing mix
- Contribute ongoing forward-thinking and unique ideas and personality to help grow AGAR’s culture

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE/
- BS/BA in related field plus 5+ years relevant experience
- Excellent communications skills both written and orally
- Strong research, writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
- Previous media relations and proven outreach experience
- Strong understanding of the storytelling ecosystem and social media platforms, experience producing content to use across the marketing mix
- Creative thinker with a critical, solution-first mindset
- Knowledge of analytical tools and ability to synthesize market research, creative briefs, points of view and proof points into concise and compelling recommendations, stories and/or reports
- Able to multi-task, prioritize and plan effectively in a dynamic, creative a fast-paced environment
