The Director of Brand Marketing for ROCCAT (Turtle Beach’s PC gaming accessory brand) will be responsible for delivering global campaigns and go to market strategies for the ROCCAT brand’s portfolio of PC gaming products (including gaming headsets, keyboards, mice, and more.) This role will partner with the product management and marketing teams, internal and external creative teams, regional and functional marketing heads, and sales to develop strategies and execute initiatives that deliver sales results.

The role will be responsible for bringing the brand DNA to life through all new and existing customer touchpoints including owning the brand's social media strategy, building content, platform, and posting schedule that maximizes follower growth reflects the brand DNA, and delivers engaging content. In this role, you will be the leader in all aspects of how our ROCCAT products are marketed globally - developing media plans, building out target profiles for influencers partners, building influencer activation strategy and content, new customer acquisition tactics, customer loyalty, and repeat purchase and retail execution in conjunction with the broader team.

In this role you will work closely with ROCCAT product teams to develop a deep understanding of key product features/benefits, price points, positioning, as well as understanding the competitive landscape in the category.

This role will brief creative teams, approve and deliver creative assets for retailers and consumers, web and social copy, consumer-facing advertising assets, as well as leading the development of PC go to market marketing plans.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop creative and innovative marketing strategies that create awareness and drive demand for the ROCCAT brand and our products.

· Work closely with the PC product management team (based in Hamburg, Germany) on the lifecycle of each product (from early concepts to product greenlight meetings, through development and completion of products).

· Work directly with and lead both our internal creative team and external ad agencies to create small-large scale marketing campaigns.

· Own social media strategy and tactics – translate marketing strategy and brand DNA into unique content to grow followers and create brand advocates globally

· Work directly with and lead our media agency to build out paid media plans that support our PC brand and product portfolio.

· Work closely with the digital, social, partnerships, and retail teams to ensure all campaigns, product information, product photography, videos, and brand messaging are executed properly.

· Collaborate with the Partnerships team in identifying influencers, teams, and/or events for PC marketing activations and brand growth.

· Analyze existing marketing programs to determine the effect on sales.

· Work closely with the sales team to ensure all brand and product messaging and creative is delivered on-brand and catered to consumers.

· Serve as a spokesperson who can represent the brand at key retail meetings/conferences, and industry trade shows and events.

· Work closely with Trade Marketing on planning and execution of retail-level ad programs, displays, and POS opportunities.

· Write detailed marketing plans for new product launches.

· Work to maintain strong market intelligence, keeping up to date on consumer and social trends, researching the strategies of our competitors, and recommending changes to our own strategies.

· Communicate the value proposition of specific products and select appropriate sales tools to support campaigns.

· Ability to lead product training for the sales team, retail associates, and consumers.

Education/Experience/Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing

· Proven experience in building a brand through earned media (social media, PR, customer advocacy, and loyalty) and paid media (macro and micro-influencer marketing, paid social, mass media)

· Proven experience leading external creative agencies on the development of all aspects of campaign creative (initial briefings, storyboards, video and static creative, etc…)

· Superior communication and writing skills with the ability to work across multiple areas and locations of a global company.

· Solid understanding of the PC gaming landscape, (if you’re a PC gamer, that’s a huge plus) including knowledge of all relevant brands in the space.

· Fondness for German cuisine (ability and willingness to travel quarterly or as needed to our PC HQ, located in Hamburg, Germany).
