Role Description:
As Global Director of Brand & Communications, you play a critical role in shaping and enhancing the reputation of the Company and Brands. You will create and implement innovative and differentiated communication strategies that will drive clients, end-users & Industry influencer’s engagement and will support business objectives.
- Develop and Implement a Communication and Media Strategy
Formulate the overall Communications Strategy to drive and grow awareness, brands affinity and advocacy of the Company. Create an integrated thought leadership platform that harnesses our voice, while utilizing all aspects of integrated marketing (digital and social media communications, advertising, events, and speaking engagements) to amplify our mission, vision and unique perspective. Responsible for art direction and design elements ensuring brand experience is kept cohesive. Work closely with Product Management and Marketing teams to identify and target key client pools with the most relevant and effective communication tools and platforms.
- Develop Company’s Communication Capabilities, Infrastructure, and Processes
Push the boundaries of Digital experience, Content, and Communication. Help establish standards, guidelines and play books representing the Brands as best as possible. Develop the always-on voice, look and feel across all Communication. Grow and nurture a team of specialists to become a best-in-class Creative Unit.
- Manage Company's Media Outreach Efforts
Establish contacts and solid working relationships with media, influencers, community leaders, and others. Direct and control outside agencies/suppliers and internal resources to procure support material for merchandising or visibility programs, trade presentations and communications. Audit performance activities, and develop required corrective actions.
- Help Steer the Organization
Play a leadership role in the development and implementation of Company strategy and policy. Serve as an originator and conduit of best practice within the Company encouraging cross divisional and functional collaboration, sharing knowledge, information and expertise.

Education and Experience
BA or BS degree (in public relations, communications, journalism, or marketing)
Minimum of ten years of leadership experience in the field of communications and public relations strategies for Disruptive Technologies
Successful record of developing and implementing complex communications and public relations strategies in the Music/Entertainment Industry.
Practical in-depth knowledge of modern social media and communication platforms
Experience with Music and/or Entertainment Industry a plus.
Skills
Impeccable writing, editing, presentation and oral communication skills, as well as an ability to synthesize and translate complicated information into clear, compelling language.
Strong personal leadership and influencing skills, with ability to build consensus.
Strong people management skills with ability to build, coach and engage a high-performing team.
Strong network connections with Press and Media
Highly developed interpersonal skills, tenacity, and emotional intelligence, including a demonstrated ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Credible and engaging personal presence.
Bilingual French English is a plus.
