JOB PURPOSE:
Drive brand growth by owning brand vision and direction, developing consumer engagement strategies, owning product-level go-to-market roadmap, acting as the global brand proprietor, leading key brand growth initiatives, and maximizing brand performance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Set and achieve annual KPIs to improve brand health metrics through development of robust consumer engagement strategy and plans
- Create traditional/digital marketing strategy and campaigns, from concept to execution, including agency and vendor management
- Direct and support creation of content, social media and PR/influencer plans
- Create an integrated consumer brand experience by leading global marketing strategies, providing guidance and oversight on brand asset usage, messaging and overall proper portrayal to international business leads and trusted partners
- Own global brand hierarchy & positioning, delivering a cohesive global brand experience
- Own all brand hierarchy elements, evaluating for relevance and updating if necessary
- Develop the global communication strategy for the portfolio (imagery, digital, point of sale) consistent with the brand’s identity
- Monitor key market players marketing messaging and activity, understanding and sharing impact on RT business and positioning
- Optimize portfolio performance, in partnership with trade marketing, through comprehensive management of product assortment
- Oversee refinement of product assortment, guiding sku rationalization to minimize overall product portfolio while maximizing productivity
- Lead planogram strategy, focused on efficient and effective product mix at shelf
- Achieve product launch success with oversight and execution of all facets of new item management
- Manage retailer timelines to achieve all key retailer dates for successful launch
- Ensure on-time delivery of all marketing-owned item setup, overseeing the detailed size of prize buildout with Trade Marketing
- Develop and share on-going sales materials
- Deliver operational excellence through effective and timely promotional planning and merchandising solutions
- Oversee licenses, partnerships & collaborations to elevate brand positioning in the marketplace
- Manage budget successfully and accurately
- Responsible for building, managing, and executing the annual brand A&P budget
- Advise and guide DIM team on budget allowances and needs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of proven success in brand management and/or product marketing
- Demonstrated success leading a brand and cross functional teams with a high degree of independence
- Keen understanding of marketing and financial fundamentals and strong ability to execute against these fundamentals.
- Experience in brand strategy, consumer & customer insights, product strategy & positioning, budget management and P&L management
- Ability to oversee and develop a team
- Ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams
- Beauty and/or personal care experience preferred
