As a Partnerships Manager, you will develop and manage relationships with strategic partners. You will manage existing partnerships and continuously build new partnerships in the key sectors including but not limited to comics, music, TV, and film entertainment. You will grow these partnerships, meeting essential metrics through different partner programs, marketing, and new integrations. This is an essential role in the Digital & Partnerships team. You have a good mix of skills including an ability to understand a variety of partnerships and their value propositions and a desire to increase the growth of our business.

What You Will Do

  • Support the strategic objectives and interests of WEBTOON and furthering these objectives through meaningful partnerships
  • Manage all aspects of partnerships: Identify and prioritize strategic marketing partnership opportunities; initiate conversations and develop relationships with the partners; assess monetary and non-monetary contributions of the partnerships; create and negotiate for ideal forms of partnerships; execute partnership campaigns optimizing and tracking the performance for most desirable results.
  • Maintain direct relationships with partners, proactively resolving issues and creating value
  • Draft compelling propositions and clear pitch decks
  • Build and maintain successful long-term partnership programs with influencers
  • Manage in-house influencer and brand ambassador programs by working with the influencer marketing manager and social media manager
  • Work with a broad range of team members in Content, LCM, Marketing, Legal, and Brand Safety to successfully execute partnership campaigns
  • Manage success metrics – monitor partner campaign performance and swiftly adjust the tactics as needed

Who You Are

  • 5+ years marketing, partnerships and/or business development experience in entertainment
  • Proven track record for driving partnerships and running successful cross-promotion campaigns with brands
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and established connections in various fields
  • In-depth knowledge of content business and genuine interest in webtoon, web comics, and animation
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various teams, managing projects at scale, and delivering results
  • Have experience in working with influencers and managing structured influencer programs
  • A self-starter with relentless drive and ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
