The Role

As the Influencer & Social Media Marketing Manager, you’ll be planning and executing strategic partnerships and successful influencer campaigns. You’ll also manage our social media strategy and platforms. You’ll collaborate with content and eComm teams and report directly to the Head of Brand & Community. Ultimately, your goal is to increase brand awareness and engagement, and drive conversion and retention.

Here's what you'll do day-to-day:

Affiliate & Influencer Marketing:

  • Create and manage a data driven affiliate and influencer strategy so it aligns with the overall brand, marketing and sales goals.

  • Build a team of affiliates including influencers, celebrities, other brands and organizations and create successful ongoing partnerships, and manage communication on rate negotiation, objectives and agreement.

  • Effectively manage affiliate and influencer campaigns, including communication on rate negotiation, objectives, agreement as well as ensuring campaigns are created and executed on time.

  • Monitor and analyze campaigns and social media progress, and create reports to evaluate and optimize the success of each campaign and overall strategy.

  • Review requests for social/sustainability partnerships, donations etc. and forward to relevant departments.

Social Media:

  • Work with the Head of Brand to define and manage the social strategy to increase brand awareness and drive sales.

  • Grow audiences on social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Pinterest.

  • Maintain a posting schedule on social media platforms and regularly create platform-specific content including text posts, images, videos and graphics.

  • Support and lead special projects on occasion for the marketing team.

You have a strategic and data driven approach, and are comfortable with looking at numbers for evaluation and decision making. You have excellent multitasking skills, a creative way of thinking, brand

understanding, and are comfortable presenting ideas and results.

Requirements

  • 3+ years work experience working with social media and influencer marketing for a D2C brand.
  • Proven track record of building social channels and a successful influencer marketing programs.
  • Creative eye and able to produce new content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong people skills — you are friendly, empathetic, a good listener, and you’re invigorated by constant personal interactions.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Highly motivated and self-starting.
  • Expertise with social listening and community management tools, e.g. Iconosquare, Sprout, Buffer etc.
  • Proficiency with Google Applications, Adobe Creative Suite and social media management platforms
  • Must have the right to work in the US.
