Description

US & Global PR:

  • Support larger Integrated Marketing Communications Team in the development and implementation of holistic global strategies that drive media and influencer coverage, promote consumer brand awareness, increase social conversation and boost sales for Elizabeth Arden
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, social, media, eCommerce) to support marketing campaigns and align on holistic PR programs
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with the PR agency to execute PR strategies in the US including media relations and planning/execution of all launch activities
  • Oversee logistics for all mailings, press events, and trips in coordination with the PR agency
  • Create PR dossiers and press materials, setting guidelines for new launches and establishing cohesive messaging across all global markets
  • Support Sr. Manager in liaising with all brand partners and experts including but not limited to celebrity spokespeople, global brand ambassadors, Dermatologist consultants, etc.
  • Build and maintain relationships with beauty editors, assistants, and key industry tastemakers
  • Work closely with global counterparts, maintaining consistent communication to ensure all parties are speaking one cohesive brand message on all launches and activations
  • Identify, secure and work with external brands on strategic partnership opportunities
  • Manage Elizabeth Arden archives
  • Manage product forecasting, sample orders, and PR sample inventory
  • Responsible for leading the development and dissemination of event and program recaps demonstrating the ROI of various PR initiatives
  • Budget management and tracking

Influencer Marketing:

  • Assist in developing global influencer strategies for the brand, planning and executing all activities from campaigns to trips
  • Identify new influencers manually through Instagram and third-party tools
  • Maintain and continually update internal influencer database on-going
  • Set up meetings to build and maintain strong relationships with influencers
  • Compile detailed campaign recaps communicating the ROI of influencer campaigns
  • Identify and share best in class examples, both internal and competitive, with the global marketing team and regional partners

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications/marketing, journalism, or English
  • 3-5 years (Assistant Manager) OR 5-7 years (Manager) of experience in a beauty or luxury company and/or an agency
  • Strong knowledge of and relationships in the industry: traditional media, influencers, vloggers and bloggers, dermatologists, celebrity makeup artists, tastemakers
  • Strong knowledge of media, social media, and influencer tracking tools (i.e. Cision, Tribe Dynamics, Sprinklr, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Photoshop)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail, resourceful, with a can-do attitude
  • Experience working on a global brand

  • Strong planning and project management skills
  • Have a finger on the pulse keeping up with the latest industry innovations, trends, best practices, and influencers
  • Proven experience in creating and executing successful campaigns supported by ROI analysis
