Position Overview

In this role you will be part of building and developing our Ralph Lauren social presence to its best-in-class use and continue to help evolve it to meet new business and industry needs. With the ever-changing role of video, content, and dynamic experiences on Tik Tok, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Pinterest. We must dedicate equal time to the HOW and the WHAT. You will maintain and develop our relationship with platforms and bring to life social-first ideas in collaboration with a cross-functional team - including digital marketing, global marketing, insights and creative. As a team member, this role will contribute to the strategy and social media publishing for Ralph Lauren across all platforms. You will have an opportunity to contribute to the strategic thinking and insights-led storytelling for our social platforms, in dynamic partnership with our digital team. Success in the role will come from developing a strong knowledge of social media best practices, challenging norms to create best-in-class storytelling, possessing a strong grasp of the competitive landscape of luxury, fashion and lifestyle on social, and demonstrating creativity in strategizing and ideating social-first content in a dynamic way.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively with (and not limited to) global marketing, brand creative teams, digital insights, influencer marketing, PR, digital design, and digital marketing
* Support weekly and seasonal content planning to drive growth and translate the heritage of the Ralph Lauren brand to a digital-first audience
* Contribute to the Ralph Lauren publishing playbook, individual platform strategies and competitor trends to ensure Ralph Lauren continues to engage with a new generation of digital-first consumers
* Provide support on platform developments, platform trends and translate them into actionable recommendations for strategic social publishing
* Partner with wider teams to apply insights-driven and data-led strategies to all social campaigns - and ensure content is optimized across all platforms
* Assist in concepting social strategies and storytelling that ladder back to marketing priorities and business goals
* Partner with PR, celebrity, and hospitality teams to contribute to the creation of rich storytelling and engaging publishing formats during special events
* Help manage the social media calendar and planning to ensure social has an always-on presence
* Support on all social needs across brand campaigns, special projects, and social-first activations
