Position Overview
The Director of Influencer and Brand Partnerships for Ohana is a key position that plays a highly visible and important role in both the development and growth of the platform, as well as the overseeing of all client strategy. This person is accountable for successfully leading Ohana’s paying accounts, developing tactics, influencer lists and goals/objectives to ensure clients are seeing an ROI on their subscription, as well leading all demos with potential clients and working closely with the development team to ensure a strong user experience for both for brands and influencers, while continuously suggesting updates and opportunities for the platform.
The Director of Influencer and Brand Partnerships must demonstrate enduring relationships with top influencers that matter the most to clients and possess an understanding of the competitive landscape to ensure Ohana is continuously innovating. The Director must have excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills and must consistently teach and demonstrate these skills to elevate the skill sets of more junior team members, in addition to advising the larger agency of Ohana updates and mentoring clients on the platform.
The Director of Influencer and Brand Partnerships is responsible for successfully overseeing the platform’s growth, including facilitating long-lasting brand/influencer partnerships and closing new business leads. The right candidate must have the ability to operate independently and make key decisions client success and platform growth.

· Lead strategy, planning and development of Ohana’s service and client initiatives
· Create strategic influencer and content recommendations and campaigns for all clients, focusing on crafting a campaign and target list that will achieve our clients’ marketing goals and show true ROI
· Lead all new client demos and follow up with all potential leads to ensure Ohana meets quarterly revenue goals
· Manage sales team to ensure goals + objectives are being met and target leads are aligned with Ohana’s mission
· Act as day-to-day contact with account teams and clients and be responsible for overseeing the execution of client campaigns, ensuring satisfaction and continued subscription
· Ensure reports on campaign performance, including insights and optimization recommendations, are timely, accurate and actionable
· Assist the development team with strategy and planning for the Ohana user experience, strategizing opportunities to optimize the platform based on client feedback and best practices
· Proofread and evaluate all design updates to the platform, making suggestions for improvements where needed
· Work directly with founders to make key decisions related to Ohana’s growth and future, providing insight and opportunities for strategic improvement
· Hire and lead junior team, creating a strategic, cost-effective staffing plan to ensure clients are serviced appropriately while Ohana maximizes internal revenue
Qualifications:
· Minimum 5 years of influencer marketing and/or content experience within an agency or competitor platform environment
· The ability to plan influencer and content campaigns to meet strategic and tactical objectives while remaining within budget constraints
· Past experience leading client accounts, liaising directly with key decision makers
· Past experience pitching sales or new business, including leading presentations, managing sales goals and “closing” clients
· A strong understanding of social content creation best practices
· Knowledge of the public relations space, including best practices for pitching journalists
· In-depth knowledge of the ever-changing influencer space and FTC regulations; well versed in terms & conditions for online contests, giveaways and content permission rights
· Experience across all social platforms, influencer marketing tools, native platform analytics, and social intelligence tools
· Excellent grammar and proofreading skills
· Excellent time management and prioritization skills, including the ability to quickly pivot to meet client objectives and requests
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to independently make informed decisions based on industry best practices
· Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or equivalent.
· Experience with travel, F&B and lifestyle clients is a plus
· Experience working in a startup environment with emerging social media/influencer marketing tools a MAJOR plus!
