The Marketing & eCommerce Coordinator will have an active role in growing the brand awareness and ecommerce business for SOKO via shopsoko.com. As the Marketing & eCommerce Coordinator, you will support our customer acquisition programs, brand awareness initiatives, and the sales goals of shopsoko.com. This position requires a person with proactive problem solving, decision-making skills, and an initiative to work independently in a detail-oriented environment. This is a very hands on position with a great deal of self-reliance required. You will need to be organized and well written, with a positive, can-do attitude. This role is an excellent opportunity in providing exposure to all aspects of marketing and ecommerce in an entry level position on a small team.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to

Marketing

  • Assisting PR, Influencer Marketing and other customer acquisition programs with day to day activities.
  • Supporting and coordinating with Influencer identification, activation and execution.
  • Managing product samples and no-charge orders.
  • Gathering, organizing, and sharing assets for product launches and asset requests on behalf of the marketing team.
  • Assisting with execution of strategic plan to grow brand awareness/advocacy & drive exposure for our products.
  • Managing campaign tracking and weekly reporting for our customer acquisition programs.
  • All other duties as assigned.

ECommerce

  • Assisting in managing product assortment on shopsoko.com.
  • Ensuring copy details, format, technical specs, and images are accurate.
  • Responsible for new product setup.
  • Reviewing the site regularly to identify any product, merchandising, or inventory needs.
  • Assisting with website updates/testing.
  • Responsible for implementing SEO changes as identified by the team.
  • Conducting some analysis and reporting.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related area or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in Google Apps.
  • Experience with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube - preferred
  • Interest in e-commerce, social media, and marketing and knowledge of creators across all social media platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills are required
  • The ability to problem-solve, be forward thinking and anticipate needs
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively
  • Retail Industry experience will be an added advantage
