ABOUT THE ROLE

The Social Media & PR Manager is responsible to grow the company’s portfolio of brand's social media presence & community, and increase referral traffic to their respective eCommerce websites. This role will support FAM Brands’ Social Media & Influencer Strategic Efforts.

Social Media:

  • Work with marketing team to execute marketing strategies across social media sites
  • Maintaining social media profiles and initiatives based on branding and metrics
  • Develop and execute social media content calendar
  • Schedule social media content with appropriate tracking links and optimized posting times
  • Produce social media content with the support of the Creative Team
  • Produce daily content for InstaStories and Snapchat to keep brands top of mind
  • Interacts and replies to followers to ensure a great relationship with brand followers
  • Track all social media KPIs and report weekly
  • Identify, research and analyze competitors, new industry developments and potential partnerships
  • Assist with managing various marketing collaborations and promotional contests and giveaways including brand partnerships
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, culture, and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increasing the use of social media at FAM Brands
  • Help grow the influencer programs with influencer outreach and helping to maintain influencer relationships
  • Own PR programs for assigned brands

Community:

  • Assist with paid influencer opportunities
  • Manage day-to-day correspondence with Brand Ambassadors

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Highly creative and effective at creating engaging native social media content
  • Effective project manager, detailed-oriented, highly organized with the ability to manage multiple project deadlines efficiently.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree with a major or concentration in journalism/business/marketing, or relevant experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience managing social media campaigns and tools with some PR responsibility
  • A solid grasp of social media & influencer marketing, a strong social media footprint, and acute knowledge of emerging trends and technologies.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced business environment while working effectively and collaboratively with team members
  • Team player, able to help on ad hoc projects, willingness to experiment and ability to deal with uncertainty
  • Ability to create great working relationships with all levels within the company and across multiple disciplines
  • Energized by customer service and interaction
  • Enthusiasm for health, wellness, and fitness industry a plus
  • Sense of humor :)
