As a Social Media Manager at StyleSeat you will oversee all paid and organic social media efforts at StyleSeat, responsible for growing both sides of our marketplace. In this role, you’ll build and execute on the playbook for scaling our marketplace through social media. About the Role:

StyleSeat is looking for a Social Media Manager with hands-on proven audience development skills to help build StyleSeat’s social media presence. You'll be deeply involved in driving decision-making across all aspects of social media to articulate the company’s purpose and mission, as well as engage with diverse audiences on our social channels.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Content and Communications, you will collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to create content that increases brand awareness, celebrates our community of pros and engages with old and new clients. You’ll need to have your fingers on the pulse of social media trends, as well as what’s happening in the beauty and wellness industry.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop StyleSeat’s social media strategy in alignment with business strategy and goals
  • Own overall messaging and community engagement process while maintaining StyleSeat’s brand identity and voice
  • Oversee social media marketing, social media channel management/optimization, influencer marketing, community management, and social analytics
  • Own the editorial calendar for all social media, and collaborate with product and product marketing to develop campaigns
  • Support brand ambassador program, build relationships with high-profile professionals
  • Determine, implement, and optimize the overall social strategy across social platforms
  • Establish, track, and report on KPIs
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills – ability to develop a variety of content from short posts to multimedia, blog posts, and infographics, and manage an integrated communications calendar

What You Can Bring to the Table:

  • 5+ years experience managing social media
  • Proven track record of developing ROI-positive community engagement
  • Experience with B2C organizations
  • Experience in the beauty/wellness industry, or working with 2-sided marketplaces
  • Deep understanding of the beauty needs across a diverse client base
  • Ability to quickly understand complex issues, frame insights and communicate recommendations simply and effectively
  • Facebook and Instagram expertise, TikTok and Pinterest knowledge
  • Paid social media expertise
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to balance competing priorities
  • Passion for empowering minority- and women-owned small businesses

  • Experience developing and executing on an influencer strategy, and building relationships with high-profile influencers
