Web Experience Specialist - Growth Marketing

Reporting into the Director, Lead Acquisition, the Web Experience Specialist will partner closely with our Growth and Content teams to maximize channel efficiency and hit aggressive new customer acquisition targets. Success in this position requires an analytical mindset that uses data to make informed decisions that improve the customer experience on our website. Your primary responsibility will be to build a pipeline of high-impact, high-velocity web optimizations and page redesigns that will drive measurable business results and create world-class web experiences for our future customers.
While GRIN is headquartered in Sacramento, CA, this position has the ability to be fully remote. GRIN has a Remote First work policy, meaning remote, or "work from home", is the default. GRIN has office space available in Sacramento if you decide to go into the office a few days a week, and there are a few days each quarter that you'll be required to come in to headquarters for quarterly planning meetings, with travel covered by the company.
What You Will Do
- Build a deep understanding of visitor and customer behaviors on our site.
- Use web traffic, site engagement data, and in-product metrics to prioritize opportunities and forecast the business impact of potential optimization efforts.
- Set the optimization strategy for all website pages using the unique concerns and cultural needs of customers in our ICP markets and map out customer journeys.
- Create testable hypotheses and improve the Growth Marketing web experimentation process while ensuring cross-team collaboration where necessary.
- Own page-level KPIs such as conversion rate, bounce rate, session length, and more and analyze those metrics for the full customer journey, from ad exposure to landing experience to sign up.
What You Will Bring
- 2+ years of Growth Marketing or Performance Marketing experience that included web optimization.
- 2+ years of experience with Wordpress CMS
- Analytical and data-driven mindset, comfortable using heat mapping tools, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google Optimize, Excel, and similar tools to identify opportunities, monitor performance, and report on progress.
- Experience with hypotheses-driven A/B testing, experiment design, and statistical analysis.
- Ability to design and execute experiences that are positive for the brand, delightful for the user, and impactful for the business key performance indicators.
- Working knowledge of paid acquisition programs (SEM, Social, Programmatic, etc.) and SEO best practices.
- Experience in a high-growth, SaaS business preferred.
