Pro Athlete is looking for a Social Media & Influencer Manager to oversee strategy and execution for the Pro Athlete family of brands. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Branding, you will partner to create the strategy for each brand’s social media presence across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Spotify, and beyond) with the overarching goal to grow our social presence and increase community engagement.
You consider yourself a social media guru - you know the next big social network, the most engaged influencers and you live and breathe all things social media. Ideally, you have experience in either sports, fashion, or lifestyle social media, or have a personal passion within the space. You are used to working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and are comfortable with both setting the vision and executing the results. You have a creative mindset but also know how to run a highly organized and effective social media strategy.
Essential Roles & Responsibilities
- Social Media strategy for JustBats, JustGloves, JustPaddles, and Routine
- Concept all ideas for social media content (photo, video, contests, influencer partnerships, etc)
- Create, own and set the calendar for all brands in line with bigger marketing and product initiatives
- Create briefs for creative teams (designers, photographers, and videographers) to fulfill content needs for social channels
- Set strategy for influencer outreach identifying key targets and campaigns to support
- Handle outreach, negotiation and manage day to day relationship with all influencers
- Monitor social performance across all channels and report monthly to team
- Be the go-to contact for the team to ensure brands are socially and culturally relevant
- Launch on to new platforms as and when they join the social space
- Ensure consistent follower growth across all brands
Qualifications
- 4+ years social media and/or influencer marketing experience
- 2+ years working in e-commerce, sports, branding, or fashion
- Solid understanding of influencer marketing including a network of contacts as well as an understanding of contract negotiations and campaign planning
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Ability to work fast under pressure and comfortable with short deadlines
