Influencer Marketing Coordinator
Behindthechair.com is the largest media worldwide for the hairdressing community. (Ask your hairdresser if she knows us!) We have more than 4MM members in over 80 countries and bring the world of hairdressing to the hairdressers of the world. We have the most trafficked website in the space with more than 1MM hairdressers logging on monthly to behindthechair.com. We are also very proud to dominate the social media space with our Instagram account behindthechair_com with over 1.8MM followers, our Facebook: behindthechair with over 1.0MM, along with other pages including: @oneshothairawards, @btcuniversity & @thebtcshows.
We started our Influencer Division – also known as The BTC Team – in January 2018 and have since completed over 200 successful campaigns partnering our 150+ represented salon professional influencers (with a collective 14MM IG followers) with major haircare brands worldwide. In the last year, we’ve expanded our territories to include artists from Australia, UK, Germany, Ukraine and Russia and continue to grow in the North American and European markets.
We are expanding our influencer marketing team, and looking for a candidate that is ready to jump in, take initiative in their areas and absorb information quickly. The ideal candidate uses logical thinking, and demonstrates extreme organization and communication. MUST be interested in hair, beauty, celeb, fashion and pop culture, and have a natural curiosity for the world of hairdressing!
Job Description (but not limited to):
- Help to maintain current influencer relationships as well as assist in growing new relationships with content creators and influencers in the salon professional industry
- Work with our social engagement team and internal influencer team to like and comment on influencer campaign posts daily.
- Be responsible for monthly product refill outreach for influencers during campaigns and organizing order forms and addresses
- Use tools such as Traackr and Tribe Dynamics for social tracking, database management and campaign reporting
- Assist in finalizing influencer agreements and be essential in communicating to the client, influencer and internal team throughout the duration of the campaign
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Outgoing personality, team player and super positive outlook.
- Extremely high level of detail, organization and COMMUNICATION
- Great interpersonal skills and will always look for the win/win to create a long term partnership and relationship with artists and clients
- Ability to organize your day to create your highest level of productivity - must be a self starter and take initiative
- Committed to a high standard of integrity and work ethic
- Desire to achieve success and willing to work hard to create it

**Position will be remote until spring 2021. However, when we transition back to in-office you will be expected to work M-F in our downtown Chicago office or West Hollywood, Los Angeles office.
