Philadelphia boutique firm with clients in consumer, hospitality, and real estate is seeking a social media account manager. Salary and benefits commensurate with proven experience. If you are proactive, enthusiastic, organized, detail-oriented, and know how to read a room, continue on.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging content and manage social media accounts for agency and clients
  • Assist in planning post schedules, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Monitor feeds and escalates requests as needed and factor in community management trends into planning
  • Assist in the production of photo/video shoots as they relate to trends and best practices
  • Provide guidance on keywords and search terms to build audience engagement
  • Measure content effectiveness and track against goals, implementing improvements as needed
  • Develop and implement influencer marketing campaigns
  • Create and coordinate timelines and task pipelines
  • Compile monthly reports inclusive of paid, earned, and shared media metrics
  • Develop agendas, memos, and briefings
  • Monitor industry blogs and social feeds for timely and pertinent opportunities to leverage
  • Coordinate and participate in client conference calls and meetings
  • Assist with all event logistics from beginning to end phase
  • Develop and maintain client master, media, and influencer lists
  • Draft, review, and edit press materials
  • Develop and maintain relationships with earned media and influencers

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years agency experience
  • Proven social and earned media experience
  • Understanding of budgets, deadlines, and the importance of adhering to both
  • Knowledge on how to plan and execute all aspects of influencer/media mailers and events
  • Capacity to supervise junior team members and update senior team members
  • Strong writing, verbal, proofreading, and editing skills
  • Proficiency in using and discussing social media tools including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, HootSuite, and Sprout Social
  • Familiar with digital platforms such as Mailchimp and Constant Contact
  • Strong proficiency in Google platforms, Dropbox, MS Excel, Word, Pages, Keynote, PowerPoint, Basecamp, Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
  • Familiarity with Cision, Meltwater or Muckrack
  • Photography and video experience are a plus
  • BS degree in marketing, communications, or new media is a plus
  • Background in consumer goods, hospitality, and/or real estate are a plus
  • Must live in Philadelphia
