The QYOU is a publicly-traded media and marketing agency with offices in Los Angeles, Toronto, Ireland and Mumbai. The QYOU is looking for an LA-based (preferred) Director of Brand Sales to join our growing, award-winning Brand Partnerships team.

At The QYOU we harness the power of influencers and their communities for award-winning influencer marketing / social media campaigns for leading brands (DreamWorks, Universal, Sony, etc.)

The position is responsible for delivering sales (from pre to post-sales services). The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in selling-in and managing digital marketing and / or influencer campaigns. Experience with the following verticals is a plus: entertainment, gaming, retail/fashion, QSR, technology, and consumer packaged goods.

The role will also liaison between the client and internal partners to manage expectations and ensure deadlines are met on active campaigns. Candidates for this position are highly motivated, self-assured team players with strong sales, client and social media skills. This is a fast-paced, client-facing role requiring deep industry expertise and a proven ability for closing deals and growing accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Driving revenue with new and existing clients. Includes acumen across the entirety of the sales cycle including pre-sale (strategy / account targeting), outreach, developing compelling presentations, active client listening, strong (and persuasive) verbal and written communications and attention to detail.
  • Responsible for client paperwork (service agreements, SOWs, IO’s and invoices, etc.)
  • The role will liaison between the client and internal partners to manage expectations and ensure deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Track, report and analyze sales efforts and campaigns and report key insights
  • Staying current on the state of major social platforms and the interplay of influencers is key!

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 5-10 years experience of sales and account management experience in advertising or influencer marketing.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, especially TikTok
  • Ability to create compelling presentations and proposals
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
