Introduction

iRobot is looking to hire a talented & ambitious US Online eCommerce Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of online customers by effectively capturing their business requirements, establishing and growing trusted strategic relationships and implementing iRobot’s profitable growth strategies. Champion of the customer voice, the candidate will interface with all departments to “make things happen”, is an astute Sales & Marketing digital first thinker combined with a strong “Do’er” attitude, that always puts the consumer first. With the acceleration of online sales globally this is a rare opportunity to work on a dynamic, fast paced business and team that is constantly innovating and establishing best practices for the iRobot’s global organization.

Role and Responsibilities

· Responsible for delivering annual and quarterly revenue growth and product margin targets for accounts

· Develop strong relationships and trust within customer organizations to facilitate more opportunities for driving incremental growth

· Thorough understanding of customer growth trends and competitive activity within different product categories and price ranges

· Work closely with business planning to ensure sell thru and sell in forecasts are accurate based on current trends, promotional strategies, new product launches, etc.

· Expand the business relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives

· Work closely with channel marketing to execute promotional and new product launch strategies. Create compelling new digital customer experiences that result in increased conversion and/or improved ad performance.

· Work with internal teams to create and execute digital marketing campaigns and online merchandising programs that elevate the right products to the right customers at the right time.

· Explore and develop new opportunities for growth in areas such as online affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, etc.

· Prepare weekly reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics & marketing KPIs

· Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

· Serve as the central point of contact at iRobot for your customers

· Closely monitor customer inventory position and sell thru trends to ensure they remain in a healthy position

· Work with internal/external accounting, legal and finance teams to address questions on accounts

· Share best practices and learn from global iRobot online / DTC counterparts

· Daily “walk the store” review to ensure customer experience and ads are delivering in alignment with planned strategies

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

· Detailed understanding of the different levers that drive online sales and improve margin

· Hands-on attitude and strong skills in executing pre-existing negotiated terms, keeping in mind the company’s margin & interests at all times

· Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in collaborating and building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels

· High Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint

· Excellent organizational skills

· Experience problem-solving and negotiating

· High motivation, resilience and flexibility

· Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving cross-functional projects ideally in a matrix organization

· English language fluency

Qualifications

· 3-5 years’ experience in sales and/or digital marketing preferably with a consumer product company in floor care/small appliances and/or consumer electronics categories.

· Preferred experience at a notable consumer band and working with Amazon and Walmart.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
