*Please note, 1+ year of beauty public relations/influencer marketing internship OR agency experience is preferred to fill this role.

Position Objective:

This role will take ownership for PR support of multiple beauty and lifestyle brands and projects. As an Account Coordinator on our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting agency clients in the execution of media-driven PR activations.
  • Driving influencer discovery, analysis and recommendations for our client’s digital programs (micro to macro) across all beauty and lifestyle categories and assisting in the execution and reporting of these programs.

Position Requirements:

Media Relations

  • Build and maintain media lists (national, regional, online, print, etc.)
  • Draft pitches & conduct reactive (responding to leads) and proactive outreach to media
  • Build positive relationships with editors, producers, on-air talent, bloggers, vloggers, etc.

Influencer Discovery & Relations

  • Research, analyze and recommend influencers for digital brand programs
  • Manage influencer and talent outreach, assist with negotiations and coordinate campaign onboarding, logistics and content approvals/scheduling/tracking
  • Act as primary point of contact for influencers, talent and their teams, collaborating closely between client and talent to implement program approvals and logistics
  • Forge positive relationships between the agency, talent teams and influencers
  • Research industry and cultural trends and monitor the talent/brand landscape to determine industry direction and competitive positioning
  • Experiment with new ways to leverage and partner with influencers across platforms
  • Execute audits (growth metrics, engagement metrics) across varying content types: Videos, educational/information, publishing metrics, audience demographics, and message success

Day to Day Tasks

  • Track, obtain, clip and record placements for monthly updates
  • Compile monthly updates for team/client review
  • Draft call agendas and recaps (client/partner/vendor/etc.)
  • Coordinate product send outs to media/influencers
  • Research/source/compile materials for creative mailings/events
  • Track/monitor/order product inventory
  • Share media placements/industry updates with clients
  • Support colleagues by contributing to marketing materials, creative strategy development, peer development and other relevant tasks
