JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Lead social media strategy for US market including owned, paid and earned social media
  • Develop the brand's social platforms, partnerships and programs to drive awareness, engagement and conversion
  • Craft concepts for "always on" programs and launch campaigns, in partnership with key stakeholders from cross-functional team (Creative, Education, PR, E-Comm, Sales)
  • Work cross-departmentally to bring social activations, programs and partnerships to life across all Consumer Marketing levers and channels
  • Partner with DMI team to craft market specific social plans and calendars for new and existing markets based on best practices in the US
  • Grow all social channels with higher focus on key sales and awareness driving platforms while keeping engagement high across the platforms
  • Leverage relationships with retailers, partnering with sales and marketing to craft retailer specific social plans
  • Understand IT unique brand positioning and voice and stay true to brand equity through all social posts
  • Partner with creative team on development of overall social media brand look and feel and creation of photography, video and live content, with an eye toward the highest quality brand storytelling and voice expression
  • Oversee paid social media campaigns with an eye toward brand awareness and channel growth
  • Partner with the e-commerce and digital marketing team, to develop US digital and social marketing programs to support the brand and key initiatives
  • Work closely with PR team to track and monitor press initiatives to drive social
  • Help to define, identity and engage social media influencers in conjunction with PR team
  • Stay on the cutting-edge of social innovation, including monitoring direct competitors, as well as innovative non- verticals such as entertainment and lifestyle
  • Manage and mentor social media team of 3 direct reports and act a thought leader within the larger organization
  • Educate company on social first thinking to ensure social has prominence and awareness across all aspects of the company
  • Conceive and implement the overall social media strategy for official brand channels. (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) for all content initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of social media strategists, effectively managing workflow across the team. * Understand all the component parts of the business globally - Programs, Communications, Membership, Development, Performance Marketing and Content Teams and drive value through social strategy/tactics.
  • Lead internal pitch meetings to optimize timely news and culture content, setting the posting schedule across multiple social media channels.
  • Develop an influencer program, and work with the Cause Marketing team to amplify the brand through partner channels. * Develop scopes of work and manage project details/deadlines in a fast-paced environment that adheres to the milestones in the editorial calendar but can pivot quickly based on breaking news. * Manage a team of Social Media Producers, creating clear accountabilities, processes and operations for the team. * Edit and approve all social media posts, ensuring alignment with voice, brand and content tentpoles.
  • Establish the appropriate hierarchy for news presence on Twitter and develop social listening capabilities to help understand when to start or join conversations relevant to our sphere of influence. * Administration of all third-party and internal social media tools and content management systems for social * Stay on top of the latest social media trends, innovations and opportunities.
  • Interface with paid advertising managers to deliver holistic social media strategies. * Work in tandem with the creative team to build unique, social-first brand content. * Use data analytics to optimize all social media campaigns, using levers such as customer targeting, lead generation, acquisition, content and format

Measurement & Effectiveness

  • Define objectives for brand's social platforms, then execute, measure and adapt accordingly based on overall business goals/priorities
  • Set social KPI s for each campaign/activation and track towards and through execution
  • Spearhead social reporting with social media manager and standardize analysis to improve performance/effectiveness
  • Identify key drivers across all social platforms to optimize future content and programs
  • Thoroughly understand ever-evolving social metrics and liaise with corporate digital marketing on best practices and benchmarks

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in marketing including digital, social media or content development for a brand (in-house or agency)
  • experience a huge plus!
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and develop big picture strategy to grow the IT brand
  • Creative thinking a must
  • Ability to write and edit in an IT voice
  • Ability to be resourceful and scrappy while working within brand guidelines
  • Expert in social and digital landscape
  • Passion for and for empowering women (and men) to feel their most confident
  • Strong analytics skills
  • Flexible to evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes
  • 12+ years of experience in social media marketing, with proven examples of strategies driving strong ROI.
  • . Experience across wide range of social media channels including, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube and social management/listening platforms such as Sprout Social, Buzzsumo, Spriklr, Hootsuite, Khoros and Percolate.
  • Experience with influencer marketing. * Solid experience managing a social media team in a social or digital agency. * Ability to drive content strategy and write compelling copy. * Experience managing content calendars and deliverables.

Salary: $45,426.00 - $106,104.00 per year
