ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a creative, versatile Social Media & Community Manager to manage our ever-growing audience, educating our brand values to our engaged community. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of content curation, and managing social media tasks from ideation to execution, with experience in community management. As our first social media-focused hire, this position will further develop our editorial strategy with continuous content across all owned channels, helping to establish Caraway Home as the go-to brand for all things healthy and well-designed living.

Ideal candidates will possess a scrappy, can-do attitude, and are comfortable taking on multiple projects, wearing many hats, and working independently.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 1-3 years of relevant social media experience. Preferably experience with social media, community management, and content marketing for a DTC brand
  • Content creator with an elevated creative eye and aesthetic; deep understanding of high-quality content and how it can translate from copy to video/photo, Reels, TikTok, and beyond
  • Strong copywriter with a knack for storytelling across a variety of mediums; ability to repurpose marketing materials and communicate effectively for each owned channel
  • Have a passion for all things home, design, and lifestyle
  • Live and breathe all things social media. You’re up to date on the latest trends and best practices, and are the first to test out new platforms and features when they launch
  • Understand how to connect with a virtual audience, utilizing insights and experiences to shape your social strategy and manage a community
  • You’re a content tank – highly creative and full of ideas, with a good balance of strategic thinking

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Plan and execute social media strategy, aligned with our marketing and content calendars, to support business goals, drive awareness, traffic, and sales
  • Manage and maintain all of Caraway’s social channels including Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok. Assist in the management of Caraway’s Ambassador-exclusive Instagram
  • Organically grow social following across all channels to hit monthly/quarterly follower goals while maintaining high engagement
  • Own day-to-day social media planning and execution, including caption writing, curating UGC, post scheduling, and community management
  • Own a social media content calendar and publishing cadence for social channels that aligns with brand marketing calendar, editorial themes, and cultural moments & trends
  • Maintain a consistent social media publishing schedule, always ideating new content opportunities and campaigns that are cohesive and on-brand
  • Continuously brainstorm and execute new ways to engage our social audiences while communicating core brand messaging
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support all marketing efforts, including but not limited to: influencer activations, marketing campaigns, and co-brand giveaways
  • Lead and execute social giveaways with like-minded brands and personalities
  • Monitor, analyze and report social metrics to propose effective strategies for community growth
