United States ⚠ [Archived] No Longer Accepting Applicants

Viceversa powers all your Cinderella moments. We save nights from turning sour when your feet are in pain by making high heel shoes that fold to flats. We believe you shouldn’t need to compromise fashion for function. Our secret is blending engineering with luxury Italian craftsmanship to create a heel that not only looks great but also folds to flats in seconds when you need it to. Our plans are to become eponymous for the convertible heel category by leveraging our e-commerce destination to be a fashion fairy godmother to everyone, everywhere.

To make it happen, we are looking for a Head of Social & Community to join our fast-growing team!

This will start as a remote role, with the option to work from New York or Los Angeles post-pandemic. The Head of Social & Community will report to the Founder/CEO. We are looking for someone to take the reins to build and scale our social media portfolio and community. This person will oversee all content on Viceversa’s social media channels, manage our marketing calendar, engage influencers, and communicate with our community.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CEO to define brand marketing initiatives
  • Build a digital strategy for growth and engagement on our channels including e-mail, text, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest & Twitter
  • Create and manage a content calendar across all our social channels
  • Strategize content and brand marketing campaigns for new collection launches and collaborate with designers to execute the vision
  • Identify community members to represent the brand as ambassadors and engage them in conversation with us and each other through chat, video, and events
  • Oversee influencer program, with both gifting and paid partnerships
  • Establish metrics to track the performance of social and community initiates
  • Listen to what our customer and community are saying and communicate the feedback back to the CEO and cross-functional team

Qualifications

  • Aware of the fashion, art, cultural zeitgeist, and the always-changing influencer and social media ecosystem
  • 2+ years of experience working on social media and/or digital marketing at a fast-growing consumer brand or well-respected agency
  • Expertise in growing social followers and engagement
  • Established relationships with influencers and an expert in industry standards for paid partnerships vs gifting
  • Proven success with running content and influencer campaigns
  • Can source and manage creative talent for concepting, modeling, photography, etc.
  • Comfortable in a start-up environment, willing to roll up sleeves and jump into new roles when necessary
  • Ability to iterate and set up tests to validate ideas before investing resources in it
