Brand Manager
Working with one of our legacy clients on search for a Brand Manager for one of their 3 divisions. This individual will be developing long & short-term strategies for new product development on a seasonal basis, create marketing activation plans that include ecommerce, social, digital, web, PR, partnerships, and sales promotions. This role will report directly to the VP of Marketing and will play a key role in growing the brand exposure and sale profit. This Brand Manager will work on the smallest of the brands that just went through a whole rebrand effort. This brand has new product launches every season and thus previous experience with that pace is a plus. Currently working remote- post pandemic will be TBD on returning to office. As of now there is no plan to return to the office.
Responsibilities:
- P&L for marketing, agencies, influencers, advertising, and product development.
- Content creation for all related platforms including social, ecommerce, advertising, etc
- Responsible for eCommerce Site using Shopify.
- 3rd party vendor relations including product info, photos, prices, and marketing material.
- Development of ecommerce strategies to move product via content, promotions, and email marketing campaigns.
- Brand ambassadors and influencer relationships and strategies.
- Create daily social media content for all platforms.
- New product development using competitive landscaping and white space mapping.
- Manage product pipeline.
- Create custom sales decks and pricelist of all retailers.
- Go-to-market strategies for new products each season.
- Reporting and monitoring sales volume, share and profit objectives, KPI’s, and recommendation of changes based on data.
Background:
- 5+ years of brand management experience preferably for fashion, wellness, or beauty products.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- Strong experience in social media and influencer relations.
- Previous P&L management across all platforms.
- Entrepreneurial spirit- small team must think outside the box to drive revenue.
- Above average experience with eCommerce using Shopify preferred.
- Experience with Basecamp and ERPs a plus.
- Proficient in Mandarin language a huge plus.
- Experience with syndicated data and retail point of sale data a plus.
