Digital Marketing Producer (acquisition)
General Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Producer (acquisition focus) is responsible for the day-to-day creation and execution of messaging, landing pages and campaigns designed to drive customer acquisition across multiple digital marketing channels, including but not limited to, Web landing pages, SEO, Digital advertising (search, social, display, mobile, shopping), influencer marketing and affiliate marketing. Areas of focus will include eMail marketing list growth, loyalty program member growth, lead generation, customer segment development, and cross-channel promotion support. The candidate will help the Digital Marketing Manager and/or Digital Commerce Director to manage 3rd party digital marketing agencies. Collaboration with all members of the Digital Commerce Team and cross-functional partners is a critical aspect of this role. Cross-functional Teams include Marketing and Merchandising. The candidate’s primary focus is to drive customer acquisition, driving customers to our brick-and-mortar and online stores.
Must have experience with digital marketing to drive traffic to both eCommerce websites and physical stores. Must be skilled in reporting on digital marketing metrics and uncover insights that will provide a better understanding our customer in order to improve and optimize traffic and conversion. Must be hands-on, analytical, and highly collaborative, capable of a high level of digital production in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions
- Develop and execute acquisition-focused digital marketing messaging, design, landing pages and campaigns across a variety of digital media channels, including design, testing, launch, analysis, and optimization.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to optimize digital marketing effectiveness and support cross channel sales, including Marketing, Merchandising, and other functions.
- Align campaign schedule with the master Marketing calendar.
- Execute at or under budget.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to recommend segmentation and targeting to improve conversion rates, cost per acquisition and maximize marketing return on investment.
- Contribute to landing page optimization and other forms of A/B and multivariate tests associated with digital marketing focused on optimization.
Required Skills and Abilities
· AdWords Certified a plus
· Digital display ad creation (design and create)
· Landing page layout and creation (CMS)
· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective internal and external relationships, and influence change
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, and/or Business
· 3+ years experience in SEO and SEM/PPC digital marketing and marketing analytics
· 2+ years within a retail or retail-related environment a plus
· Experience working at or managing digital marketing agencies
· Experience with digital marketing tools including Search Engine and Social Media Ad Platforms, Marketing Automation Platforms, Content Management Systems, SEO/PPC reporting tools (e.g. Moz), Web Analytics
· Strong business, data analysis and interpretation skills
· Strong collaboration skills; experience managing digital marketing in a highly-matrixed, multi-channel retailer a strong plus
· Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
· Self-starter and able to solve complex problems
Physical Demands/Job Conditions
