Job Description:
SLMD Skincare, a direct-to-consumer beauty brand co-founded by Dr. Sandra Lee aka Dr. Pimple Popper has an exciting opportunity for a talented, hard-working Influencer Marketing Manager to join our fast-growing company. This position will be responsible for developing & nurturing relationships with influencers & spearheading initiatives like product launches, paid campaigns, and product sends to drive incremental awareness for SLMD Skincare across digital & social platforms. You will be an expert on various influencer outreach and engagement tactics and will also understand the ins and outs of social marketing, including a willingness to dive into channel nuances. Lastly, the candidate will be able to creatively think outside of the box, have an eye for detail, and a willingness to quickly pivot strategies based on shifting priorities. The ideal candidate requires strong relationship management skills, excellent communication/written skills with an expert knowledge of the influencer marketing landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive relationships with content creators/influencers across key social channels including Tik Tok Instagram & YouTube.
- Grow brand awareness/advocacy & drive incremental exposure for our key products while bringing the SLMD Skincare story to life.
- Be an in-house expert on our product lines & educate content creators to insert benefit into the conversations of trends, solutions to skin conditions etc.
- Manage organic and paid influencer collaborations and product gifting with creators.
- Scale and refine influencer outreach strategies.
- Analyze and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly reports on influencer performance and analyze in relation to competitors.
- Continuously engage with existing group of influencers to drive promotion frequency.
- Become obsessed with our influencer partners to drive stronger relationships.
- Structure and negotiate partnerships with influencers that create a win-win outcome.
- Serve as seamless liaison between our unpaid and paid influencer campaigns.
- Manage and execute our gifting programs for influencers.
Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years digital influencer experience.
- 3+ years marketing, PR and/or digital experience.
- A keen intuition for what messages will resonate with skincare influencers.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- A passion social media and beauty/skincare.
