Feedfeed is looking to add a Social Media Coordinator to the Feedfeed team. The ideal candidate is constantly reading and posting images & videos about food, and is an avid home cook (*formal culinary training is a bonus). They would be on the pulse of what the food world is cooking and sharing on social media, and identify exciting up and coming new food creators. They are able to uphold a consistent brand voice in caption writing throughout all our social platforms and stay up to date and always be looking into / learning new features on all platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter. They’ll use this knowledge to work with our existing social / editorial teams to identify on-brand user generated content, as well as help create content to promote Feedfeed’s offerings including The Feedfeed Shop and The Feedfeed Creator Platform and Community. Given we are in a remote work environment right now and for the foreseeable future, candidates from across the U.S. will be considered, however those living in LA or NYC based are preferred.

Job Description:

  • Assist Social Media Manager(s) and Editorial Team in:
  • Coordinating content/social media calendars across 7 Instagram accounts and Pinterest, Facebook, TikTok and Youtube, averaging 100-300 posts/week.
  • Develop Social Caption Copy
  • Developing content to promote Feedfeed offerings on social media platforms.
  • Track success of Feedfeed’s social media account growth and engagement.
  • Maintain thefeedfeed.com as it pertains to adding/adjusting content on the site in preparation for social promotion and other activities.
  • Work with The Feedfeed Influencer Team to help market the Feedfeed Creator Platform and grow general audience registration on thefeedfeed.com
  • Support the team as needed with social posting on weekdays and some weekends
  • Create original still photography and videos as necessary.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years in a social media role in food media (or with a food brand). *Experience running a successful personal social account(s) is also a major plus.
  • Culinary background (experienced home cook/self-taught) or formerly trained, with ability to vet recipe content.
  • Experience social copywriting (in food) and designing layouts for social content, ability to shoot compelling photography and *video footage on iPhone is a plus
  • Active on personal social channels (Instagram is a requirement, TikTok is a major plus).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage tasks between multiple teams and prioritize team needs
  • Deadline-driven, meticulous, and highly organized
  • Cool under pressure and flexible personality
  • Willingness to pitch in on various tasks throughout the company, even when outside of direct job description, i.e. startup vibe
