Better Booch is a leading kombucha brand in the California area, in the midst of national expansion. We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as Social Media Specialist. This position requires a person who is highly motivated, has an impeccable eye, is independent, and demonstrates expertise across all social platforms.

Our Social Media Specialist will work closely with our marketing team to produce and implement cohesive content across Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, TikTok, blog, and more.

Our ideal candidate must have a proven track record in executing digital marketing campaigns, and applied experience in social media management, influencer partnership programs, and brand partnership programs. Content creation skills like photography and graphic design a plus.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video or GIFs) that builds meaningful connections and encourages our community members to engage with us.
  • Communicate directly with our customers to produce high-quality user generated content for product, research and marketing projects
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with our brand aesthetic and crediting guidelines.
  • Collaborate with our PR, sales, and marketing teams to ensure needs are met with the potential to pitch and partner on projects
  • Create posting calendars and syndication schedules in line with our digital marketing efforts.
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.
  • Display exceptional written and verbal communication skills for the purpose of content creation, as well as interaction with customers via social media platforms
  • Find and nurture influencer and brand partnerships
  • Create content including graphics, short videos, photos for use across platforms

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of social media/community management
  • Experience working with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, etc. and understanding their analytics/insights
  • Passion for smart and engaging storytelling, social listening, and creating meaningful and/or empowering experiences for a diverse audience
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and media-savvy
  • Interest or passion for the health, fitness, and wellness industry
  • Expertise in design software programs like Adobe illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop

Not required but a plus: Experience in PR, marketing, or similar fields
