Job description:
The Social Media and Digital Manager leads the vision and strategy for Global Bracing & Supports SBU, with regional execution in the Americas for social media. This role is focused on understanding social platforms, and how customers engage with the brand digitally, developing content and campaigns as a result; this includes marketing automation planning and executional support. The Social Media and Digital Manager is the subject matter expert for the voice of the customer and trend watcher across Össur’s social media platforms. They will bring lifestyle campaign expertise contributing to omni-channel marketing campaigns, customer segmentation, content development, campaign execution, KPI measurement and optimization. They are responsible for the social and brand narrative, optimizing sentiment, overseeing paid social efforts, and managing nurture objectives in lead programs and ecommerce campaigns. The Social Media and Digital Manager will keep stakeholders informed with consistent reporting updates and strategic reviews.
Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage Bracing and Supports social media strategy (paid and organic) across all brand social media channels with commitment to KPIs, ROI and daily execution
· From planning to execution, create unique, branded content to support global and regional strategic initiatives and campaigns. Consistently report on campaign metrics with key insights for content and campaign optimization.
· Own Össur brand narrative, iterating and executing strategies to engage followers and contacts at all points in the funnel from awareness to conversion
· Analyze campaigns and translate insights and qualitative data into recommendations for revising social media, content marketing, and social advertising campaigns.
· Manage social listening and community management program to curate relevant content topics to reach target users
· Monitor sentiment across Össur brands, competition, and community trends using social media tools and applications
· Manage formalized influencer program strategy and deployment of influencers and partners
· Ownership of the content calendar and project management for content/campaign development
· Develop email campaigns that nurture strong customer relationship at all lifecycle stages. Use marketing automation tools to manage journeys, building segments and focused on generating new B2B leads, earning B2C conversions, and increasing average order value.
· Strong writer with visual storytelling skills and passion for data and analytics
· Have a strong understanding of data quality in CRM tools to support automated campaigns
· All employees must be aware, have knowledge and shall have received general training in Quality requirements of Össur. Training takes place in the Onboarding process and in New Employee Orientation. More specific Quality training is job specific.
Qualifications:
Education:
· BA/BS degree from accredited institution
Experience:
· Minimum of 5 years of professional/business experience
· Minimum of 5 years specializing in social media; 2 Years email/marketing automation
· Experience in one of the following fields or industries a plus: medical device, fitness or sports, action sports, or marketing agency
Skills:
• Experience with Salesforce: Pardot & Social Studio, Google Analytics and other social media monitoring programs a plus
• Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and forums like Reddit, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
· Team player with the confidence to lead and guide other employees when necessary. (ie: content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management)
· Understanding of customer focus and market dynamics
· Project management and strong analytical, organizational, time management, problem solving
· Strong verbal, written and presentation abilities, especially PowerPoint
· Willingness to travel up to 5-10%
