Social Media Consultant

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reports To: Global Marketing Manager

Classification: Contracted – Up to 20 hours a week

Position Location: Remote

POSITION SUMMARY

Chaucer Foods is looking for a Social Media Consultant who can grow our social media platforms with exciting content and active engagement. The Social Media Consultant will lead the brand’s social media strategy and all aspects of social media community management. This role will work cross functionally throughout the organization to prioritize brand messaging as it pertains to social media.

The ideal candidate for this role will be passionate about content marketing in the healthy snack space and have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.

This is a flexible part time position with a need for self-management and responsibility, with potential for growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain a content calendar
  • Generate engaging content using a photographer and recipe development
  • Write copy that is engaging, on-brand, and platform-specific
  • Scheduling and posting content across multiple social channels
  • Maintain a 100% response rate on all social media comments, reviews, tags, and direct messages.
  • Analyze audience and performance data to develop content strategy
  • Collaborate on influencer and other brand relationships
  • Identify opportunities for cross-promotion and help execute partnership terms
  • Support events, promotions, and new product launches as they align with the social media strategy
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

· Remote, ideal candidate will reside near major metropolitan city and/or have access to major airport

  • Prior experience of growing social following, engagement, and brand awareness
  • Hands on experience in content development and management
  • Copywriting experience
  • Solid Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the passion and influential leadership required to lead aggressive growth
  • Ability to motivate and inspire

Technical Skills Required

  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Social Media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok)

Education/Training Required

  • Minimum of 1 year work experience as a Social Media Consultant or Equivalent in a similar role

  • Work performed remotely.
