Digital & Social Media Coordinator
Overview
The Digital & Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of digital and social media marketing tactics for Oribe, the brand that defines luxury hair care. This role has the opportunity to join an entrepreneurial luxury brand growing in the e-commerce and social media space. The Coordinator will drive initiatives on digital platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and oribe.com, as well as provide community management across all platforms. The Coordinator will manage multiple project plans and deadlines to ensure all digital marketing initiatives launch in accordance to marketing calendar and global priorities. Projects will support marketing efforts across both professional and consumer channels. In addition, this individual will partner with PR team on influencer and affiliate initiatives.
This role will be responsible for working with the Digital & Social Media Manager to deliver a branded online experience that represents the brand equity and drives engagement and conversion across Oribe digital channels including dedicated brand websites, branded social media channels, email marketing, the development of the global digital and social media marketing calendar, and other digital touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Work with Global Marketing team to assist in executing the digital strategy and guidelines for distributor and international markets
- Monitor digital and social trends, competitive landscape to identify opportunities and present new ideas for digital campaigns and content
- Launch, manage and publish social media content across Oribe channels. Engage social media community daily across owned media platforms, demonstrating a 24/7 approach to responsibilities
- Create and maintain content calendar to ensure communication aligns with business priorities and marketing calendar. Assist in digital and social media content ideation and photoshoot planning
- Responsible for delivering content and campaign needs to global markets, Assemble monthly digital toolkits to share with global markets
- Assist Digital & Marketing Strategy Manager on email blast creation and execution, oribe.com content refreshes, website auditing, and the launch and coordination of of global e-commerce sites
- Leverage Google Analytics to report weekly website and email marketing performance. Daily monitoring of social media analytics, monthly reporting of channel performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-2+ years experience working with digital and social media channels, knowledge of social media platforms,
- Hyper-organized, meticulous, deadline oriented, & works well under pressure
- Positive, ambitious, self-starter looking to broaden their knowledge base and skills for a career in digital and social media
- Proficiency in social platforms including Facebook/Instagram, Google/YouTube, and passion for emerging platforms
- Aware of trends in the digital marketing field (email, video, web, social, e-commerce, etc)
- Outstanding writing skills. Editorial writing/reporting experience a plus
- An eye for style and ability to spot and interpret trends across fashion, beauty, and media/pop culture
- Ability to pull data from various resources and translate it into trends, actionable plans, and reporting templates
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Graphic design programs and Google Analytics experience are a plus
- An eye for creative ideation and content creation.
