SuperOrdinary is seeking a highly entrepreneurial and operationally driven Senior Director to lead talent/creator-led beauty incubator built around high-velocity, culturally relevant product drops.

This role will oversee the full lifecycle of creator/talent-led beauty launches spanning marketing strategy, creator partnerships, product innovation, content strategy, omnichannel distribution, and operational execution. The GM will act as the central business lead while helping define a new model for how beauty is launched and scaled in the social commerce era.

Our launches are designed to bridge cultural relevance and commercial scale through highly curated, limited-release drops that talent/creators can authentically champion to their audiences. This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of beauty, creator economy, entertainment,retail partnerships, social commerce, and community-driven brand building.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-moving, iterative environments and understands how to build consumer excitement through scarcity, storytelling, virality, and creator-led engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Ownership

  • Lead the overall strategy, operations, and growth roadmap
  • Serve as the primary point of contact across senior leadership teams
  • Own P&L performance and help scale the business toward aggressive revenue and growth targets
  • Champion the long-term vision of creator-led, culturally driven beauty drops across retail and social commerce channels
  • Help build scalable operational systems and processes to support rapid launch cadence and future expansion

Creator Partnerships, Brand Development & Community Building

  • Identify, evaluate, and secure high-potential creator and talent partnerships
  • Translate creator vision into compelling beauty concepts, launch narratives, and community-driven brand experiences
  • Oversee branding, packaging, visual identity, and creative development for each launch
  • Develop launch strategies centered around exclusivity, scarcity, fan participation, and cultural relevance
  • Drive TikTok-native content strategy including creator content, UGC, affiliate programs, and social storytelling initiatives

Omnichannel Growth & Commercial Strategy

  • Lead the execution of a synchronized omnichannel strategy across retail, TikTok Shop/social commerce, Amazon, and e-commerce platforms
  • Partner closely with teams to support in-store launch strategy and cultural discovery moments
  • Drive high-conversion social commerce initiatives designed to maximize launch velocity and post-drop replenishment
  • Manage sales channel operations, partnerships, and performance optimization across all commerce platforms
  • Identify opportunities to expand the halo effect of each drop into broader long-term customer acquisition and retention

Product Development & Supply Chain Execution

  • Oversee rapid product development and launch execution for creator-led beauty drops
  • Partner with ODM/OEM manufacturers and development partners to bring concepts to market quickly and efficiently
  • Manage launch timelines, inventory planning, replenishment strategy, and operational readiness
    Ensure product quality, speed-to-market, and scalable operational execution across multiple simultaneous launches

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Shared Services

  • Partner cross-functionally with Growth, Creator Partnerships, Production, Operations, Finance, Legal, HR, and Logistics teams
  • Leverage SuperOrdinary’s centralized infrastructure and marketplace expertise to scale efficiently
  • Help build and manage external agency and partner relationships supporting TikTok Shop, Amazon, and e-commerce operations
  • Work closely with leadership to refine positioning, go-to-market strategy, and long-term business expansion opportunities

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5–10+ years of experience across beauty, consumer brands, social commerce, incubators, creator economy, or high-growth startup environments
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, creator-led commerce, community building, and short-form content ecosystems
  • Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives spanning brand development, operations, partnerships, and go-to-market execution
  • Proven ability to operate across both strategic leadership and hands-on execution in fast-moving environments
  • Deep familiarity with beauty retail, social commerce, and omnichannel growth strategies, particularly within Sephora and TikTok ecosystems
  • Experience managing agile product development cycles and operational execution with manufacturing and supply chain partners
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort building new business models, launching new concepts, and scaling emerging verticals
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience working across executive leadership teams and external partners
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; MBA a plus
