About the Job:
The Taco Bell social team is an industry-leading group that develops and builds a breakthrough brand presence, innovative programs, and leading community engagement for Taco Bell across social channels and platforms.
As Manager, Social, you will lead Taco Bell's community presence across fan, creator, and reactive, setting the vision and overseeing the team that brings it to life at scale. This role serves as a senior lead supporting the Head of Social, operating as a true peer to brand pillar leads and as a mentor and strategic anchor for the broader social team. The ideal candidate brings both executional depth and strategic vision, and can operate with speed, cultural fluency, and data-driven instincts. Reporting directly to the Head of Social, this role will focus primarily on the following:
Day to Day
• Lead and develop community strategy across fan, creator and reactive, setting the north star and empowering the team to execute against it
• Oversee creator community strategy, agency and internal team bringing the work to life
• Craft + oversee team executing 1:1 community management + care strategy
• Extend community audience through leading execution of real-time, evergreen and off-calendar social moments and content, requiring expert knowledge on evolving trends, primary platforms and generational behaviors
• Coach and mentor a portion of the broader social strategy team acting as a true leader and coach invested in their professional development and performance
• Shape and share actionable reporting + insights across community, reactive and directs campaigns, ensuring social creative is rooted in data driven findings
• Be forward-thinking-ensure a steady level of experimentation is maintained on the brand's social media accounts
• This role demands fluency in the social landscape in order to effectively influence, manage and inspire both the internal teams as well as external award-winning agency partners. With an unparalleled pace and volume of creative development, this role requires great mental flexibility, ability to juggle under intense deadlines and a capacity to lead teams under pressure.
Is This You?
• Minimum 8+ years experience working in demonstrated expertise in brand-focused social strategy capacity, designing and deploying digital campaigns across all major social platform, experience working in or with advertising agencies a plus
• You possess an end-to-end understanding of social media strategy, including standard channels & emerging platforms and how to cut through the noise to drive impact
• You bring deep knowledge across organic and paid social media strategies with the ability to develop cross-over executions in partnership with Media Strategy team
• Proven skills in social data and analytics, lead in KPI and metric setting and able to form digestible performance summaries to share with wider business stakeholders
• Experience managing influencer campaigns and understanding of the social creator ecosystem
• Must also be a great collaborator and creative partner with a proven ability to provide logical strategic guidance and insight.
• Ability to shape ideas to be culturally-relevant to brands and consumers alike
• Minimum 3 years of leadership/coaching experience and comfortable managing levels of varying experience who can build trust with employees, eliciting and inspiring award-winning work

Salary Range: $137,900 to $152,000 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
