SALES BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER AT GREENJINN
We’re looking for a hungry sales manager who can grow our brand partnerships in the US.
This role will be multifaceted and focus on bringing more brands into the GreenJinn family and helping them connect and build lasting relationships with brands and media agencies across the US. This role will begin as a 6 month fixed term contract.
A bit about GreenJinn
We’re a startup changing the way people shop in store & online with the next generation of mobile couponing. Our technology, GreenJinn Treasure, allows brands to move beyond just raising awareness with marketing campaigns to provide consumers with a strong call to action in the form of an in-store cash back coupon. This technology can be used across paid social media campaigns, influencer marketing, outdoor advertising, print media or even TV.
GreenJinn serves as a one-to-one marketing tool for brands, who often struggle to reach modern consumers through traditional marketing channels. We aim to provide them with unique insights into shopping patterns and trends, and a platform for detailed targeting of coupons.
We have supported over 250 brands in Europe and began partnering with brands in the US last Autumn. We have worked in the US across multiple categories and retailers like WFM, Kroger and Walmart and now ready to scale out. We will build relationships with brands directly, media buying & digital performance agencies as we roll out.
The role
This role is an excellent opportunity for a brand partnerships manager who is looking to take on more responsibility in a dynamic challenging environment. As a brand partnerships manager, you will need to:
- Fully understand the GreenJinn proposition and how it benefits brands and consumers.
- Refine and enhance GreenJinn USA marketing materials; optimising and tailoring them to suit markets, categories and customers.
- Define the CPG landscape; identifying target brands and categories most likely to convert.
- Build a network of agencies (both media buying and performance marketing) who can utilise the value of GreenJinn Treasure and enable their clients to engage with consumers more effectively and efficiently.
- Convert leads. This role is all about building relationships with brands and agencies, commercially agreeing deals and launching brands on GreenJinn.
- We build long term relationships with our brands. We ensure the client objectives are being achieved and want to continue to scale their campaigns.

The sort of person we’d love to meet
- 4+ years experience working within the media agency landscape, selling services to CPG brands.
- Experience working with CPG brands, understand the brand landscape, how media budgets are formed and allocated.
- Strong written communication skills and creative flair for writing.
- Able to make complex concepts engaging and simple to understand.
- Numerically strong - knowing what it means to be data-driven and understanding the financials.
- Comfortable working independently to ambitious deadlines but also working within a team, moving quickly and completing projects to a high standard.
- Broadly understand principles of media targeting, acquisition and the consumer conversion funnel particularly.
Nice to have
- Experience working in an app based or high growth start up.
- Has managed people remotely.
- Based on the East Coast.
Compensation package
Competitive salary ($70k - $90k) + up to 100% cash bonus
