What You’ll Do:
The Customer Acquisition team at Function of Beauty is responsible for recruiting new customers efficiently through a diverse and rapidly-evolving performance-based media mix.
The person in this role will be responsible for the end-to-end management + strategy of our 7-figure Influencer channel. Joining us on the heels of our recent Series B $150M investment, this is an incredible opportunity to take our influencer efforts to the next level and make your mark on the Function of Beauty growth story.
This role reports into the SVP, Growth.
Functions and Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall strategy, forecasting, and execution of our paid influencer marketing channel to meet/exceed aggressive growth targets (CAC, LTV, scaling customers) to include:
- Media negotiation and buying
- Creative briefing, testing and implementation
- Product development & coordination for influencer specific promotions
- Oversee tracking and promotion campaign execution
- Establish, test, and scale a local influencer strategy for our core international markets (GB, AUS, CA + EU) while delivering on acquisition KPIs (CAC, customers)
- Maintain strong agency relationships and own the media negotiations and buying across multiple vendors while sourcing and vetting new opportunities
- Develop strategic, large-scale partnerships with key influencers throughout the year, in collaboration with Brand & Innovation to drive efficient sales
- Own and report on all channel specific metrics including CAC, CTR, CVR, etc. regularly and proactively & independently address declining metrics with strategy shifts.
- Set a high-standard for constant iteration + improvement through testing and innovation
- Optimize influencer customer flows in collaboration with Digital product to improve CVR
- Collaborate with PR to scale strategic affiliate partnerships in key segments
- Develop a strategic roadmap (including aggressive offer testing plans) for continued growth across the influencer channel
- Manage and develop the growth marketing associate build out a team to support a scaled best-in-class program in the next year
What You Need:
- 5+ years of experience in acquisition marketing, with some managerial experience
- 2+ years in performance-based influencer marketing
- Demonstrated experience managing 7-figure budgets, including forecasting and budgeting
- Strong negotiation skills are a must
- Critical thinker and extremely data-driven: this is performance-based influencer marketing not engagement/brand.
- Ability to demonstrate project management & leadership skills
- Experience in a high growth start-up within e-commerce, beauty, or consumer products
- DTC experience preferred
- Bias for action to problem solve & get things done
- Excitement for learning, open to new experiences and challenges in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
- Experience in international markets a plus
- Relevant bachelor’s degree
