POSITION SUMMARY:

DR. ZENOVIA is seeking a goal-oriented and highly entrepreneurial person to join our fast-paced team. We are looking for a creative, analytical and strategic Senior Social Marketing Manager to perform a range of logistic and marketing support duties related to Influencer Marketing, Events, PR, Social Media, and CSR. This position reports to the Director of Social Marketing, supporting the strategies and direction of the CMO.

Successful candidates will possess a deep understanding of the social marketing landscape and will ideally have experience in the skin care or beauty industries. This position will be responsible for creating and executing strategies in a fast-paced, high-volume environment across various channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to):

  • Identify and create programs and promotions to grow ambassadorship and engagement within the influencer and social community spaces that align with DR. ZENOVIA corporate objectives. Drive compelling multi-platform social strategy, designed to accomplish larger corporate objectives.
  • Manage influencer and ambassador programs, sponsorships, influencer events, and brand partners. Create Influencer campaigns on Tribe Dynamics for various programs, including sponsored partnerships, monthly box sends, and events.
  • Manage monthly internal, external, and PR box programs, including: selecting the appropriate recipients, writing copy for marketing material, and tracking influencer social posting for KPI reporting. Partner with internal Logistics Coordinator to ensure all promotional boxes and influencer orders are on-track.
  • Execute digital and in-person influencer events. Orchestrate delivery, set-up, logistics and teardown. Travel to events required once covid restrictions are lifted.
  • Track influencer campaigns, prepare monthly KPI reports, and make recommendations for corrective modifications. Clean up Tribe Dynamics system daily.
  • Work with influencers in developing case studies, references, and testimonials. Coordinate influencer and market research projects such as online surveys.
  • Maintain company PR library, track incoming publications, and prepare magazines for internal circulation.
  • Assist with CSR opportunities.
  • Develop concepts, gather resources, exhibit creativity, and assist with implementation of copywriting projects for PR, CSR, and influencer content. Prepare materials/supplies for events and special promo activity- coupon codes, giveaways, etc. Create, spreadsheets, reports and presentations as requested. Proofread all materials.
  • Input product orders, prepare, and ship various items as needed (samples, gifts, products, etc.). Help pack boxes at Simi Valley office as needed.
  • Track product and marketing material stock levels; communicate reorder needs to prevent stock-outs.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with all organizations and provide prompt answers to requests.

NECESSARY SKILLS

  • Creative thinker who can be both innovative and execution oriented.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience in reporting, data management, and analytics.
  • Very proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to develop customized and professional reports.
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles, new technologies and the social marketing landscape.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with superb attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate confidently yet diplomatically.
  • Ability to master reports and business correspondence with professionalism.
  • Ability to write engaging content.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team in a fast paced, positive environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle numerous on-going projects simultaneously.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and helpful, problem-solving work ethic.
  • Solid people skills with ability to support the efforts of all team members.
  • Comfort in an evolving, fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work some evenings/weekends for scheduled events and promotions.
  • Must be able to travel domestically for events several times a year (pending covid restrictions).
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time.

BACKGROUND + EXPERIENCE

  • Must have a university degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications or Journalism.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Social Media Marketing and awareness of emerging platforms and trends
  • Minimum of 6 years on-the-job experience in influencer marketing or a related field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with and excellent working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube.
  • Understanding of beauty, skincare and/or natural market is a plus
