As senior manager of Social Trends and Insights, you will play a critical role in helping Starbucks show up in culture through meaningful relationships with creators and tastemakers. You'll assist in developing and managing Starbucks’ relationships with influencers, celebrities and content creators across social media platforms. You'll work alongside the gm, Influencers to execute engaging campaigns that elevate Starbucks’ brand presence and foster authentic connections with our target audience. You’ll assist with short term activations to create buzz while creating lasting relationships that build brand fandom over time. You’ll be energized by the transformation of the Starbucks brand and culture with a desire to play a pivotal role in driving conversation. You’ll work with the Social Media team to amplify daily engagements and identify bigger opportunities to drive conversation and earned media. You will assist in collaborating across Brand Engagement and Marketing for creative opportunities to engage and integrate talent for social. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with a deep understanding of influencer marketing trends, a knack for people, and a passion for maximizing the impact of influencers on brand awareness and engagement. As a senior manager, Social Trends & Insights, you will…
- Build and nurture creator relationships – Support the development of a diverse and culturally relevant influencer network through proactive outreach, relationship management, and ongoing connection.
- Execute gifting and seeding programs – Coordinate and deliver best-in-class gifting moments that feel personal, timely, and aligned with brand priorities, ensuring Starbucks shows up authentically in culture.
- Support campaign amplification – A creators across campaigns and key moments, helping drive earned conversation, engagement, and brand affinity.
- Lead the Starcard program – evolve and execute the Starcard program, intended as a high-value gifting opportunity for talent and superfans, including the strategy, production, and delivery.
- Respond in real-time – Monitor UGC, social media trends, emerging talent, and influencer marketing best practices to contribute fresh ideas to campaigns and proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate influencer marketing opportunities into broader marketing campaigns to drive scale.
- Manage the roster – Evolve our influencer roster to a modern, actionable list of influencers to engage for projects, nurture, and monitor for real-time opportunities.
We’d love to hear from people with:
- Bachelor’s degree in design/marketing or equivalent job-related experience
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in design, marketing, or advertising
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in influencer marketing, social media, PR, or a related field
- Demonstrated passion for culture, social media, and emerging creator trends
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build authentic relationships quickly
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and project coordination skills
- Experience supporting gifting, seeding, or creator engagement programs is a plus
- A collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Curiosity, creativity, and a desire to learn and grow within brand and cultural marketing

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
