Social Media Marketing Specialist
Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group is a themed-immersive entertainment company, with primary operations in the Halloween space. We are the only company in the country to produce haunted house attractions on a national scale and have some of the highest quality, highly attended attractions in the industry. Additionally, Thirteenth Floor operates Great Room Escape and Class Axe Throwing locations across the country.
We're seeking a high energy Social Media Specialist with the drive and passion to grow our social channels in an exciting entertainment organization that covers seasonal, year-round and touring events. The Social Media Specialist will oversee all social calendars, execution of all social posts and facilitate all community management functions for Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group. This individual will work closely with the Brand Content Manager to develop overall social strategy for all Thirteenth Floor properties. The ideal candidate will have had previous social media experience at a sports, entertainment, or events based company.
What You’ll Do:
• Drive organic growth for all social accounts (primarily Facebook and Instagram)
• Partner with the Brand Content Manager to curate the look and feel of social media accounts (Instagram)
• Continue to drive Fright Club members and engagement
• Create Content, which includes writing copy and editing photos as needed
• Publish a regular stream of content
• Manage multiple brand social pages
• Collaborate with creative design team to build visual assets for posts & stories
• Community management to engage with followership
• Analyze data from social media platforms to identify and address areas for improvement
• Convert followers into customers and customers into fans
What You Have:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related
• 1-3 years experience managing social media for a brand or agency
• Previous experience at an entertainment or events based company (preferred)
• Attention to detail, creative eye and eager to learn and grow
• Basic design skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva a plus
Influencer Management a plus
• Superior customer service skills including but not limited to thoughtful listening, oral and written communication skills
