Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Assistant Marketing Manager will be a key facilitator in supporting the Marketing Director from confirming product packaging requirements, maintaining product content for vertical websites as well as 3rd party customer sites. You are the main point of contact for all wholesale sales team across 3 brands. Own and nurture these relationships with regular meetings, ensuring we are top of mind.

Develop and execute 360 marketing plans for all wholesale accounts seasonally, creating campaigns and activity that are consistent with the overarching brand strategy. This could include; email, web, social, PR, influencer marketing, events, retail, digital. Evaluate overall effectiveness of activity and identify optimizations for future implementation

Work with wholesale sales team to analyze sales performance from all accounts and use this data to identify opportunities to drive account growth with targeted marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting relationships, work assignments, and work schedules may be subject to change in order to meet company needs and business requirements. Duties include:

  • Serve as main point of contact for all marketing needs for Home Textile Company
  • Designs and creates product presentations for top retailors such as Macys, Bed Bath & Beyond, Belk, Walmart, Wayfair, Amazon etc.
  • Directs creative content displayed on packaging and retail websites, including photography and video
  • Manages graphic designer, photographer, and package designers’ schedules to ensure all marketing needs are complete on time.
  • Coordinates with various media outlets, publications and online communities on distribution and posting of all marketing content.
  • Manages amazon vendor migrating to seller central content
  • Drives creative direction to graphic designer for email marketing and web banners
  • Evaluate and improve e-mail marketing activities using A/B testing, segmentation, targeting, remarketing and other strategies
  • Writes and edits web copy product description for drop ship accounts
  • Works directly with E-commerce Manager on websites marketing strategies
  • Gathering and confirm all technical details(from Sales/PD) for vinyl bags, inserts, hang tags, and labels for all products while understanding the different needs and variations of Retailers.

  • Day-to-day operation of working in a PLM system:
  • entering all packaging information required including specs, trims, artwork, etc. in order to create product tech pack (all confirmed technical details)
  • Licensed Brand – email or upload(Licensor PLM) internally approved design and packaging concepts for brand approval.
  • Artwork proofing (digital & physical samples): Finalizing approved artwork and approval of all packaging details before proceeding into production, passing all comments to product development counterpart.
  • Work closely with teammates and product development to resolve potential issues prior to sampling and production.
  • Work closely to share the necessary product details (tech packs/line lists) with the creative team
  • Proofing the final packaging (quality control and management)
  • Manage approved trim binder for all product categories.
  • Manage and adhere to all calendar deadlines; maintain communication with cross-functional teams to meet factory timelines. Manage, analyze, update, and review daily/weekly Work-In-Progress’s for development
  • Oversee product line lists for brands, market and production – needs to be organized and transparent.
  • Standardize packing and labeling guidelines structure in order to meet with company's reputation for production
  • Maintain customer graphic design brand guides as well as retailer packaging & merchandising requirements
  • Maintain in-house committee meeting notes for brands - weekly

Education and/or Experience:

  • BA degree Marketing or Business Administration
  • Or 3-5 years related experience

Computer Skills:

  • Adobe Suite basic knowledge (preferred, not necessary – i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Other Skills and Abilities:

Experience:

  • Packaging in home textiles: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Adobe Photoshop: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Required)
  • Microsoft Outlook: 1 year (Preferred)
  • PLM systems: 1 year (Preferred)
