Position Description:

The Account Manager is the link between the client and the entire agency team. They keep the client – and the agency — satisfied; typically handling a handful of client accounts where they serve as the primary point of agency contact. They act as marketing consultant and project manager balancing between the client’s needs, wants and priorities, and the agency’s bottom line. The account manager also leads the agency’s client presentations, ensuring the ideas remain faithful to the creative brief, are on strategy, and that any project is kept within both the time frame and budget. They play a crucial role in client retention as well as potentially bringing in new business as part of an existing client referral process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage understanding of marketing planning, brand positioning, media strategy, promotions, and research fundamentals.

• Provide strategic input based on research analysis; draft and finalize reports summarizing key insights.

• Take ownership of the creation of reports and presentations with minimal guidance from senior team members.

• Become viewed as the go-to person on day-to-day matters. Effectively guide teams and clients to complete day-to-day tasks in a timely manner.

• Initiate and manage day-to-day communications programs (both digital and traditional), including scheduling, budgeting, execution, and follow-up with little to no direction.

• Draft creative and media briefs.

• Understand client budget and conducts analysis. Regularly identify opportunities to add revenue within existing clients.

• Identify and suggest solutions to internal and client processes and strategy.

• Actively manage assistant account managers and interns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or equivalent field.

• 3-5 years of advertising agency experience, with demonstrated responsibility progression and a track record of leading a wide range of projects.

• A proven understanding of integrated marketing, including promotions, production, digital, media, research, and brand building, as well as specific experience working with social media and influencer marketing.

• Motivated, self-starter and independent worker with collaborative attitude.

• Analytical and multitasking skills.

• High level of organization and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Professional experience or personal interest in natural products is highly preferred.

BrandHive offers a competitive benefits package. The compensation range for this position begins at $50,000/yr and is commensurate with experience. No relocation expenses are to be covered.
