amika’s Influencer and Partnerships Manager is responsible for building brand advocacy and driving awareness through strategic partnerships with highly-engaged influencers of all levels in the US and international markets. amika’s influencer strategy and partnerships are a driving force for brand awareness and a key pillar to overall brand strategy. This role will lead strategy execution for both consumer-facing influencers as well as professional stylist content creators and must maintain a strong knowledge of both segments while working cross-functionally with amika’s social media, advertising, marketing and creative teams.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as internal lead for influencer strategy execution against marketing initiatives, including full management of amika’s consumer-facing and professional influencer communities and campaigns for both the US and key international markets
  • Develop and execute full-scale influencer campaigns that support brand initiatives with defined objectives and KPIs with measurable business impact
  • Work cross-functionally with amika’s social media, advertising, marketing and creative teams to fuel departmental needs and ensure that influencer selection, messaging and deliverables are aligned with overall goals
  • Execute all campaigns to ensure timely delivery of influencer assets and coordinate logistics based on talent contracts
  • Take ownership of the influencer budget and strategy for both US and international initiatives
  • Develop influencer campaign briefs including defined deliverables, KPIs and messaging requirements for US and global influencer partnerships
  • Negotiate, manage and execute all contracts with affiliates, influencers, and content creation partnerships
  • Maintain overarching knowledge of the salon professional business to inform strategy and execution of content collaborations with professional stylist content creators
  • Partner with social media team on content strategy to incorporate Influencer-generated content and determine collaborations, giveaways and other promotional events
  • Continuously engage and cultivate long-term, meaningful relationships with amika’s network of influencer communities to create strong brand advocates
  • Manage and execute influencer relationship building initiatives according to budget and calendar that lead to genuine brand advocacy
  • Strategize and develop unique incentives and promotions for influencer communities to ensure consistently high engagement
  • Work alongside PR to plan and execute ongoing influencer and press events
  • Manage relationships with all influencer marketing-related agencies
  • Proactively conduct ongoing influencer discovery research and recruitment to ensure continued growth of multiple influencer community networks based on marketing objectives
  • Own the go-to-market (GTM) process for all influencer strategies relating to product launches and brand equity initiatives
  • Produce detailed monthly reports and campaign-specific reports for all categories of influencer initiatives that track all key KPIs while also measuring effectiveness of strategies and events
  • Monitor social media coverage and compile reporting documentation that shows campaign results and conversion to sales and/or other KPIs
  • Audit social media coverage to ensure that posts are consistent with industry guidelines and brand messaging
  • Maintain key knowledge and best practices of various social media platforms with a focus on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
  • Stay current with best practices, emerging social media platforms, strategies and industry standards related to influencer marketing, public relations and social media and how they can connect to overall brand strategies
  • Stay informed on current events and trends, particularly as they relate to the beauty and hair industry

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience working in influencer marketing is a must
  • Previous experience in beauty or hair preferred
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred
  • Strong knowledge of all social media platforms
  • Proven experience with tracking/reporting
  • Strong and creative writing skills
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to align and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines and accommodate for shifting priorities
  • Creative problem-solver who is solutions-oriented with a positive attitude and can-do approach
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate success of campaigns, content and programs
  • Strong knowledge in Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines
  • Excellent creative judgement to identify future on-brand partnerships and content
  • A passion for beauty and knowledge of influencers is a must
  • Experience in international influencer partnerships and markets a plus
  • Pop-culture obsessed and always has a finger on the pulse for the newest, hottest, latest in beauty and fashion
