Director, Influencer Relations
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Help lead multiple influencer campaigns, from one-off executions to long term, relationship-based
programs.
• Develop and manage end-to-end influencer campaigns including framing campaign strategy, curating
talent, negotiating rates, managing contract development, and reporting.
• Lead amplification strategies, identifying new opportunities to drive growth and EMV across our social
media campaigns.
• Lead the global vision and implementation of influencer seeding strategies, including creation of
guidelines to ensure messaging & brand standard are maintained.
• Analyze performance to develop reports, auctioning key findings and strategic optimizations.
• Analysis of culture, community, media and market trends to inform strategic and creative development
for content.
• Identify and build relationships with prominent influencers and thought leaders including defining
gifting opportunities where applicable.
• Responsibly represent the brand and manage relationships with all influencer partners, talent
managers, media and contacts at each social network.
• Develop and launch Influencer Affiliate Program.
• Coordinate and manage content with talent including briefing, conceptualizing, and overseeing
execution.
• Responsible for global influencer relations budget planning and tracking.
• Identify new opportunities across social media and influencer marketing globally, always keeping a
finger on the pulse of what is going on in the ever changing world of social media.
• Build, hire and manage a team of experts to execute vision.
REQUIREMENTS
• 4+ years experience in social media and influencer/affiliate marketing in Cosmetics.
• Content distribution expertise spanning owned, earned, and paid digital channels.
• Familiarity with back-end analytics tools.
• Broad product, influencer, and brand knowledge within Cosmetics industry preferred.
• Strong networking aptitude
• Team player, highly organized and task oriented
• Experience in leading local-to-global influencer activations through execution.
• Acutely aware of cultural and social platform nuances, payment and procurement policies,
and management logistics
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong relationships with top influencers, talent representation, and digital/social network.
• Manage content calendar for influencer sponsored content and owned social calendar
• Manage influencer marketing budget
